It seems to work, but who know if this is really a HEPA filter? or how well its works.

Could not find these in the store - vacuum runs like new!!

The motor was overheating and shutting down because of plaster dust that had come through a hole in the bag and collected on the motor filter. I washed out the old filter, but decided to order this two-pack in case. It fit perfectly. Installation was a piece of cake - reach under the rubber seal and pull the old filter out, and slide the new one in its place, white side towards the collector bag (the mesh is just a support for the cloth motor filter). I took the opportunity to vacuum out the bag compartment using a shop vac, and wiped things clean before installing. A new collector bag and the vacuum is transformed - great suction, no more overheating. Handy to have a backup by buying a package of 2. Measures 5 inches by about 4 3/4, and fits snugly in the slot.

The price seems a very good deal compared to the original. However, it is absolutely not the same quality. This filter seems extremely flimsy it barely has any thickness compared to the original one. Probably about 1/3 of the original size if not less than that. I installed it but have not actually used the vacuum yet. I will have to update once I use the vacuum a few times to let you know if this is holding or not

Replaced the old filter which was dirty and falling apart, at the same time I replaced the heap filter - also very dirty. The change in the suction was amazing! Easy to change and saved me from replacing my trusty 16 year old Sears canister vacuum. .

We used this for our canister vacuum. It is so important to replace as needed to keep the vacuum working almost like new

I suspected that this wasnt going to be an exact fit for my model of vacuum, but I trimmed it with a pair of scissors and it works great.

Perfect replacement for my VERY old canister vac. Easy install as you would imagine. I dont think we ever changed the old filter... in fact I bought this one because the old one basically disintegrated, lol. Now we have great suction and power!
