This machine is new model to make sure there are currently NO compatible cartridges in the market. The manufacturer keeps changing models to keep you pay a premium for the same thing that cost a few bucks to produce.

Greater than one weekThe printing is fine, but how do you sell a printer with a cartridge that is only able to print 42 pages before it runs out. When I bought the printer, the description stated 900 pages per cartridge. Now I have to rush around trying to find a replacement. Very disappointing.

> 3 dayIt was very easy to install with my Dell computer. Prints very fast compared to my old Canon printer. The only thing Im not pleased with is that right side of the background for the control panel is not lighted. The left side of the panel is lighted. It shows the copy, scan, fax, and maintenance functions. Good value for the price. Ive only had the printer for about six (6) weeks, but it seems to be doing fine with the original ink that came with the printer. I havent needed to use the tech support.
