> 3 dayA little disappointed when opening this package. The seal inside had broken and was slick from the detangler all over the bottle and package. Come to find out, around half the bottle had leaked out. But when finally used it on my horse. I was very impressed.

> 3 dayMy daughters ethnic hair was matted for 2 months.i used this product to help detangle. It worked better than other products I ve used. It doesnt dry the hair or cause flakes. I recommend it but Ive a period of time(3 months) it did build up and was less effective

> 3 dayMost detangler contains WATER as a first ingredient, followed by dimethicone. This is pretty much just a dimethicone gel. It IS a silicone and some say bad for the hair as it locks out moisture from the scalp as you brush your hair - so, your natural oils are unable to penetrate your hair. So, regular detangler WETS your whole damn head down, making it something you absolutely cant do right before you leave the house. But this stuff - put a dime sized amount on wet, put it on dry, whatever, it WORKS. Basically, when you buy human detangler youre paying for a watered down version of this. Smells strong, but dissipates quickly. So, about that damage - well, your mileage may vary and so will the amount of risk youre willing to take with your hair. My hair is damaged from color stripping at the bottom - so no amount of regular conditioning or oils is going to help, it is damaged. I could cut out the damage, but it will eventually happen again when I do another ombre color treatment. So, whats a girl to do? I dont shampoo my hair. Ever. I havent for years. I use a few different conditioners and Im one of those co-washing (conditioner-washing) people. I love it. I toughed it out with dry shampoo to keep me from looking like a 50s impersonator during the 3 weeks my hair was growing accustomed to NO shampoo. Before that I had tried all of the mild-color safe shampoos, to no avail. My hair has been the best it could be by co-washing for a couple of years now... And, I live in south Florida! I work out. My hair used to be visibly greasy if I didnt wash it DAILY. It behaves much better now and Im able to wash it a few times a week or JUST rinse it when Ive worked out. Really. BUT THIS STUFF - I try to keep in mind this idea that it may block the absorption of my natural oils - and I only apply it to the color damaged parts of my hair. It REALLY hides the damage. I know that I cant reverse it, but wow, can I hide it! It no longer looks beautifully colored but straw like at the ends. Its shiny, flat, and perfect. People actually come up and ask to touch it. I think that it actually helps to seal in the color as Im finding that I have to re-color less frequently.

20-04-202515 years ago I worked at a Farm supply store and the Eqyss Rep gave the staff a few sample bottles of this product to use and share with our customers. Well, I did and I havent stopped talking about it since. The scent is delicious and the detangler itself - amazing. Theres nothing that compares. Not only due we use this for the obvious reasons, manes and tails, I use this on my girth area for long endurance rides and on my long haired dachshund. Ill never look at another product. No need.
