This product is a great at detangling a tail and mane, and it smells great. But the product is slightly greasy when it gets on your hands, although the greasiness fades after about 5 minutes. Over all I love this product and recommend it to anyone who likes a soft, tangle free, mane and tail.

Got curly hair that is hard to tame from time to time? This is the product for you, it is expensive but a tiny, tiny bit goes a very long way. I began using Eqyss products in 2010, the survivor de-tangler is heaven sent!! It has such a wonderful smell, and such slip. It adds shine and luster, and it repels dirt and dust (natural debris that you find sticking to you hair with most shine products). There are no awful chemicals in it just natures goodness and it is safe for human cross over, if it is this great on my hair I can only imagine what it will do for a horses tail.

I bought my first bottle of this at a Horse Expo about nine years ago and for a lot more than the cost at Amazon. I started using it on my long-blond-maned mare, but after awhile borrowed if for myself and have used it 3 - 4 times a week ever since. This purchase is only my second bottle, and theres still a little left in the first. Ive used some from the new bottle to be sure the quality is the same. It is. Such a tiny amount is needed, pretty much the smallest dot that can be squeezed from the bottle into the palm of your hand; dime size or less. Rub your hands together and run it through your hair to get rid of all the tangles. It leaves hair smoother and shiner and it smells great! Of course its also excellent for detangling horse manes ;-)

This product works very well with using only a small amount. I have a half mustang with a long mane and tail and this product is great for detangling knots.

I bought this for my labradoodle pup. She has fairly curly hair that gets impossibly matted when it starts to grow out a bit. This detangler worked superbly. She still doesnt like getting brushed but at least with this, the brush and de-matter goes through her hair smoother and the tangles come out a lot easier. It smells great too.

This product works MIRACLES!!! I will admit that when I first saw it I was very skeptical, but after reading all of the reviews which said it could be used on both humans & dogs, I decided to take a leap of faith! That decision was also based upon the reputation of EQYYS products I have used & with which I have ALWAYS been EXTREMELY satisfied. When I read in the previous reviews that the detangler can be used not only on horses but on both dogs & people as well, I simply HAD to try it! My 10-month old multigenerational Labradoodle has a VERY thick wavy fleece/somewhat curly coat, & it requires a THOROUGH comb-out EVERY DAY or every other day. I HATE to deal with her mats, but with your product...its a done deal in NO TIME FLAT!!! I & Miss Pippa Doodle, my Diva Doodle, thank you for shipping us an AMAZING product in such a timely manner!

My daughter uses this on her horses tails. It detangles really well. Its better than a spray.

I have used this product for over a decade on all my horses and my hair too. It. Just. Works.....and smells good too.
