This is a fully modular power supply. That means that there arent a whole bunch of cables sprouting from the box. Rather, the box has a whole lot of connectors on the outside and a bag full of cables. You connect the cables you need and dont have a lot of extraneous wires hanging around.

The supernova G3 seems to do its job, and so far I have had no problems beyond noob things, like not knowing that the CPU need separate power :P.

I installed the power supply in a new build, and installed 4 SATA drives for storage. I couldnt figure out why they werent recognized by ANYTHING... I took a 5th SATA drive out of another system (since I knew it worked) and plugged it in, NOTHING... Hooked up an old power supply and still didnt recognize the drives. Connected yet ANOTHER drive, while running on my old power supply and it fired right now. Turned out this brand new power supply fried the first 4, then the 5th that I used for testing. This sucks, as there is no recourse.

Love it !

Works well. Quiet unless there are heavy loads.

For new video cards like NVIDIA, it is imperative to upgrade to a 750W power supply. This is a fantastic power supply and can easily handle new video cards.

Does the job very well and fairly silent too.

Purchased January 3, worked great for the first month or so. In February I noticed I would randomly lose power to the computer during sleep mode. Odd, but I figured it must be some software quirk. I never run much on it- light photo editing in Adobe Lightroom, sometimes my wife plays the Sims, but very minimal load. Last month it became more consistent- every few days wed go to wake the computer up and it wouldnt start. Finally, we went and it didnt wake up (April 19 or so.) Register for warranty service, I have to pay for shipping a defective item back for replacement. Completely ridiculous.

Done its job for over 6 months now
