Bought this to address coil whine from my old PC Power/Cooling Silencer 750 EPS12V which was making a loud buzzing noise when playing Overwatch. Im using this with an EVGA 1080 TI FTW3/ASRock x299 mobo and I have zero coil whine from anything at any FPS in my system.

I love this power supply because it gave me the power headroom I needed to get all of my components working properly. The only issue is that after about a day my gpu started acting up, and I couldnt figure out why. Everything I found online said it was either a faulty gpu or a bad psu, but I didnt want to just uninstall my power supply and send it back over what likely was just a bad fix 970. I ended up switching the 2 8 pin connectors in the card around, and that fixed it. I dont know if that means the psu as a bad gpu plug or something, but thats why I marked it down. If a seller could give their input on that that would be amazing, and Ill raise it back up to 5 if its not a psu issue :)

Bought this for my new system build. Product feels like a premium product with the power supply and the cables packed inside cloth bags in the box. As the power supply is fully modular, the cable bag is very useful for keeping the spare cables until they are needed (EVGA is pretty generous with the cables - for instance there are 3 sata cables, each powering up to 3 drives, so more than most users will need). The cables are of good quality and plug in easily, and the power supply was very easy to install with no issues. I have it installed in a Fractal Design Define R6, so no issues with space, but the unit feels fairly compact. The power supply is very quiet - noise is hardly detectable.
