Greater than one weekI have a few of these tanks and my animals and I love them. I love the front swinging doors, makes it easy to get pet out and clean, with a little work holds temp and humidity great.

> 3 dayI purchased this tank (18x18x24) as an upgrade from the 18x18x18 that Ive had for the past year. I use it for hermit crabs (3 small and one medium) and slope the substrate so its nice and deep for them at the back (roughly 8-9). While the length and width of the new one is the same as the old, this one gives CONSIDERABLE more height ( I swear, it SEEMS Like its twice the height, but i KNOW its not!), which enables me to build multiple levels to give them more room. I prefer this style tank to a fishtank because Im short so, having the doors open from the front makes it MUCH easier for me to access for food, cleaning, rearranging, etc. and, for the space I have (or rather, dont have) this or a tall tank is my only option, I cant go any wider (sadly). as compared to the 18x18x18 tank, the depth from the base to the front air vent is 5 compared to 3, making it so I can start deeper - and end deeper on the back of the tank. a note about the screen top: If your tank has a high humidity to keep its residents happy, it WILL rust - thats just common sense. The top for my original tank has some rust on it (not terribly bad) and is still quite strong- which my cat appreciated since it was her preferred spot to lay :/ The latches are plastic. The ones on my original tank are still holding strong and have not broken. The door latch you do have to use SOME force with, but use common sense. the doors have to be perfectly flush to lock closed. If you use a UTH for heat, you HAVE to watch the temp. it can very quickly heat the substrate too hot (for hermit crabs, attach it to the side of the tank instead, and still monitor). My tank held humidity fine, but (again, common sense) you have to put a cover over the screen to do so. You could use most anything. I use plastic sheeting. Some people use plexiglass. anything will work. Do not try to use the styrofoam backing with hermit crabs. again, common sense is not always so common. I didnt want to see the wall behind the tank and put an aquarium backer on the outside and it looks great. My new tank was shipped via amazon, we have prime, I received the tank in 2 days via fedex, and it was VERY well packaged and nothing broken.

> 3 dayWe have a tarantula in this enclosure! Works perfect! Had to take the foam deco out of the back bc crickets get lodged back there and the baby spider also did-no big deal, it comes right out!!! Great product!!

> 3 dayThe cage itself was good, although UPS decided to shatter the entire tank while delivering it. We got a refund, however.

> 3 dayThis is a great small terrarium that I bought mostly for plants. I have thought about adding an animal, but it may be too small unless I can find something tiny. But its great for my plants and fits in a small space.

> 3 dayArrived with no manufacturing flaws. Nice and compact but still plenty of internal space. The double doors open wide provide easy access. The door lock is a little plasticy and feels like its likely to break. I dont need it so not a major issue. Bought the light canopy separately (works and fits great).

> 3 dayThis is probably one of the best purchases I ever made for my reptiles. Beautifully made, sturdy, practical, ans also much cheaper than other terrariums of same size. I am currently housing a Jacksons chameleon in it, and he couldnt be happier. I know that most people choose a screen cage for their chameleons, but I beg to differ. I had one, and it wasnt good at all. With the glass terrarium, I can easily control the humidity levels by using a fogger/humidifier, and there is enough ventilation, thanks to the vent that can be found underneath the double doors. I hung basking lights above the terrarium, and also placed a UVB lamp on top of it. If you want the best environment for your chameleon, this terrarium is the one to go for.

> 3 dayI purchased this tank for a new snake. It arrived with the glass broken. I sent it back for a replacement and everything seemed fine. I got the new snake and a week later the mesh top snapped and the snake escaped! I’m very upset about the quality of this product and would warn anyone against buying it.
