> 3 dayThis is a really nice terrarium. I have it for my baby frilled dragon and its just the right size for an energetic, arboreal reptile like a frilly. The glass doors open 180 degrees instead of just 90 which is great for the extra elbow room. The lock feels a little flimsy, its just a plastic latch thats somewhat difficult to grasp. I kind of wish there wasnt a big bar dividing the top of the screen because my lamp just barely fits being a centimeter from the plastic/metal and I worry about it warping over time from the heat. Other than that, its a very nice quality tank, the bottom is water-proof (great for a mini pond or waterfall) and the backdrops that come with it are usually styrofoam which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Good for me because my frilly climbs all over it day and night. If it were plastic it probably wouldnt be climbable.

> 3 dayIve had the 18x18x24 set up for a few days now and so far so good. Just FYI: it is heavy! I had to get it to my second floor and now it basically has to stay there until I die. Packaging was fine and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition and ahead of schedule. Im using this size for 2 anoles (who have a history of procreation and there is plenty of room for a few more). Im sure each set up varies slightly.... my background is super snug. Which means it stays in place well, but was tough to even move slightly to help get tubing behind. I was afraid if I used too much effort, I would break it. I love the dimensions of it and the front entrance... no more moving lamps to get in! I wasnt sure if the sticky feet of anoles would work on the foam background, but they latch on just fine! Theres plenty of room in the bottom for more than one brick of EE and Ill be able to add a false bottom eventually. It is a little tough to keep the humidity up, but I plan to invest in a monsoon also. The door latch seems very solid, though Im also utilizing the lock holes because I have a very interested young cat. I love the spots in the top for allowing tubing and wires in. Right now, Im mostly feeding calci worms and other worms in a bowl, so I dont yet know how crickets may fair in this set up. Im very happy with this purchase so far and *might* invest in a smaller one for travel purposes. ETA: I picked up a 2 pack of hitch pins from Walmart for less than a dollar, and its perfect for the lock holes. Just take care in inserting and removing since the door handles are plastic. Gives me peace of mind that there is NO way my cat can open the doors.

> 3 dayA wonderful terrarium - we call it a gecko palace! Our gecko just loves it - switched him from a smaller tank, and he cant get enough of exploring this one! And this was packed SO well - couldnt believe it arrived with no damage, despite being made of glass. Its pricey, but well worth the cost.

> 3 dayI like the top and front entrances which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. And the only reason for 2. stars. The front lock is sketchy. Doesn’t lock smoothly. Where the top is basic. You turn the knobs and it opens. It also arrived all scratched up. Which is disappointing given I ordered a brand new item so expected it to be that. But it’s only 11 inches not 12. So they should definitely change the item description. Unless they sent me the wrong one. But given the front lock doesn’t seem to work right, I’ll probably be sending this back!

> 3 dayYeah I should have paid attention to the other reviews. I tried to order this thing once, but amazon kicked back a refund because it couldnt be delivered, which was odd. I thought ahh well, Ill try again. Dont do it. Dont try. Its shipping in a box with the most subpar quality cardboard Ive ever seen. The cage itself is holding the CARDBOARD up. Theres not a thing to protect the glass inside, which is just regular pane glass. Its not meant to take any shock. I havent even bothered to remove it, less it becomes virtually un-returnable shamble of glass shards. So thats why I got a refund from the first order. Its because if this thing fell, it would flatten itself. The one I actually received was probably looked at funny, so it didnt completely combust.
