We do considerable travel and enjoy cruise vacations. Outlets in ship cabins and hotel rooms (and especially B&Bs) can be in short supply and are already generally filled with lamp, alarm clock, and TVs plugged in. This smaller, lighter, round design strip was a good choice to put in our travel accessory bag. Here is why: 1. This power strip features a combination of standard outlets, USB ports, and USB C ports. Because so much of todays portable technology relies on USB cables, a power strip that provides USB ports can fit more cables charging at one time. 2. The flat plug certainly makes it easy to reach around and plug it behind a desk, night stand, or bed. 3. If you prefer, you can affix the strip more permanently to a wall or desk side with the two options of either adhesive disks or screws. Because we will be using this mainly for travel, table tops will work for us. 4. The workmanship and fit and finish of the unit are excellent. No blemishes, no rough edges, just a nice, clean overall appearance. 5. We especially like its safety features that include overcharge, overheating, and over voltage protection. A little blue light (next to a USB C port) stays on to remind you the unit is plugged to the wall. Of course, for electronics users and those recharging their cell phones, the most important feature is if your cell phone recognizes whichever USB port you use. In our case, our two phones immediately recognized and accepted the ports and the charging icon appeared in the corner of our screens. Our only preference would have been that the unit feature a 6 or 7 cord, or something longer that the 5 cord currently available. You get what you pay for, so while this strip comes in at the higher end of the average pricing on Amazon, the quality makes it worth it.

Purchased this to run behind the sofa (so the wife could power her stuff on her side). Works great.

I bought this just for working remotely from home and not having access to power where my desk is located. The cord was the perfect length for what I needed, and I love that it has USB power too! It works great, and I havent had any issues with it

This was really convenient to have in my living room. I have a big U-shaped sectional that covered all the outlets so this made it easy to plug in my devices while lounging on the couch. It was working great until it just stopped working completely 6 months later. There is no damage to the cord or anything. I have had it pretty stationary so nothing should have caused it to just stop working. Disappointed.

I got this to use behind the bed at home so Id have power and USB for my nightstand. The flat wall plug is great behind the headboard. Its only when I was showing my wife what Id ordered that I saw the recommended usage for travelers. I spend a lot of time in hotel rooms for business and there are never enough outlets for charging phones and powering my battery chargers for tools. This is small enough to fit in my toolbag and it gives me the power points in need at night. Im very happy with this purchase and will defiantly buy again.

This plug is great and comes in very handy

I like this power strip for home use or travel; it is lightweight and fits into one pocket of a backpack, but will accommodate 3 grounded plugs, plus 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A cables. It mounts to a desk or wall with 2 included screws, to keep it from getting stepped on or getting dust/debris in the sockets. A very good product that anyone can find useful!

Power “strip” (it’s more of a puck) works as expected. Used 3M Velcro adhesive strips to allow for repositioning. Power strip comes with adhesive disks or screws for permanent mounting.
