> 24 hourThere were no instructions. I had to look up a video on youtube to see what I had to do with the tools they sell with the plate. As for comfort, its very smooth but I liked the texture of the regular handles. I think wood grain may not be my style, I got tired of it pretty quick and went back to the default black.
