I purchased this brush to clean the engine bay of my 2011 F250 along with an engine degreaser. This brush is the perfect firmness, not too hard to scratch anything or pull wires but firm enough to hold its shape. Its great for getting in those tight, hard to reach places that you would not normally be able to get to with a normal brush. My engine had not been thoroughly cleaned since owning it when it was new back in 2011. I would not hesitate to purchase this brush again. I could not be any happier with it. I added a before and after photo to show what a 5-10 minute cleaning on a dirty engine looks like with this brush. All that was used was a blower, foaming engine degreaser, this brush, and some water. First you want to blow off the loose debris with a leader blower, air hose, or canned compressed air. Whatever you can get your hands on will work. Then you will want to take some tape, foil, plastic, or a combination of the three and cover up your alternator, intake, and major electrical components. Next youll want to take your can of degreaser and spray a good amount over the entire engine and let it soak in for a couple minutes. After the degreaser has had a chance to set in and do its work take the brush and work in the degreaser. Scrub all surfaces and stick the brush into crevices being careful not to pull or snag wires and hoses. When finished scrubbing, lightly mist with water removing the loose grease and grime over the engine. Do not over soak and be careful to keep water out of the intake and distributor cap. It is very easy with this brush to achieve great results with a detailed engine. This is my new favorite car care tool for ease of use and effectiveness.

This brush is the original detail brush. The soft bristles will not scratch the wheel, and the small size fits between the brake calipers and the inner dish of the wheel for a thorough clean.

Ive never cleaned the wheels on any of my cars as well as I have with this brush. I think I will need to either go over the wheel more thoroughly or maybe still use a rag on the front as there were parts that still had some dirt on them with lighter marks that the brush cleaned.

Cleans the barrel of the wheels very good. Knocks down the break dust yes scrubs the dirt away also a yes. But the rubber cap on the end came off after 1 use on 4 wheels exposing a twisted metal rod. Now if you don’t notice this like I did you will be sorry because this will scratch your wheels up all nasty. Great for cleaning but that cap falling off after just 1 use is a 1 star for me.
