This item arrived late, was clearly used by someone else as it had been wrapped so poorly in the box. When we attempted to try to get it to work it didnt function at all. I turned on and then gave us a bunch or error messages.

I like the fact I can talk face to face with my son who lives in Germany!

Great camera great video qualety Poor apps, disconectvyou from whatsup desktop app for chat every time you want to make a chat. Ask you all the time on the qualety of video chat . This is anoying. Does not use voice to answar or disconect call.

I bought this for my Dad, to help him stay in touch with the family. With Portal, he is able to enjoy time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren when he is not able to be with them physically. I was concerned because he is not accustomed to using technology ( he still has a flip phone). I was able to set it up easily and he uses it nearly every day. This was a wonderful purchase!

I purchased the mid size portal in white. I use it to talk with my daughters sonI can see the entire family real time without any of us having to be confined to a chair and computer screen. I use it fir my zoom meeting. I use it to cook with my daughter hands free. The value for the cost is good in my opinion. I recommend it!

We wanted an easy way for my mother to be able to make and receive video calls. The Portal and Messenger are working great for us.

Miss lot of Alexa functionality, like multi speaker group. The previous version works much better!

It worked the first day, then the second, it stopped working. No power to the unit. It just died. I called Facebook support, they tried to help, but nothing. I sent it back for a refund. Its super disappointing because I sent this as a gift to a family member. I purchased it directly from 6ave and had them send it. I also bought another at the same time for another family member, but they havent opened yet since it was for Christmas. Ill update the review if that one doesnt work either. Ill buy straight from Facebook next time

I had this mailed to me and set it all up for dad. Then I shipped it to him in the nursing home back east. He has NO access to, or knowledge of the internet. It changed his life. He is in another state and now he gets dressed up every day and just loves seeing Mom! We put photos on it from our place and he just loves his new “machine” ! He looks and acts different just for seeing people he hasn’t seen since he went into nursing care. Fantastic!
