I had hoped to use these for liquid makeup. I guess they are intended for powdered makeup, but I didn’t pay attention when ordering. I wanted to use them for liquid makeup and they are not well suited for that. They work, but they just aren’t for me.

The product itself is 4 star, nicer than your basic drugstore find but I admit, not the level of a puff you’d find with a luxury branded powder compact. I tried applying powder and the triangular shape does get product into corners of nose and smaller spots. I tried wetting for foundation application, I still prefer the teardrop shaped sponge. Throw in that re-usable plastic container & price it well (ordered when $1.33 per puff), these triangular velour puff is an 5 Star Amazon find. Love these powder puffs! They are nice and soft to the touch. The puffs themselves seem to be made from a nice quality material. I am able to use them for both liquid foundations and powders. They clean and dry pretty nicely as well so ill be getting multiple uses out of these. Great value for the price and highly recommend!

FACEMADE 6 Pieces Face Powder Puff Set are triangular, velour makeup sponges. They come in a handy plastic case to keep them nice and clean. Each puff has a ribbon for the puff to stay on your fingers. They are soft feeling, no seams felt on the face. It held up to washing, though you have 6 if you dont want to reuse. These puffs are all the rage online. They are more or less the same ones in your powder compact but with an excellent shape. The triangle point makes for better application around the eye, nose, and mouth. I found they worked best with powder. My beauty blender got a smoother look with liquid products, but you may prefer the puff as it uses less product.

I really like these powder puffs to apply my powder foundation. The puffs are thick and velvety soft. The ribbon on the backs make them easy to hold and the shape makes it easy to get around my nose and the corner of my eyes. The 6 puffs in this set come in a nice plastic box which makes it easy to store them.

Id been using a very high quality washable circular velour puff from a well-known brand for many years, but when I saw the triangle shaped puffs, I realized theyd solve the one problem all circular puffs have: reaching small areas of the face like around the nose and eyes. With a round puff, the solution is to fold two of the sides inwards to form a corner. Triangle puffs have already been constructed in the appropriate triangle shape.

These are crazy soft, and feel amazing to use as powder puffs! I use foundation wit them sometimes, but I always want to wash them right away to keep the softness, which is a plus in itself since Ill be keeping my puffs nice and fresh all the time!

So I saw a video (don’t remember where) that said that a lot of make up artists use these kind of powder puffs to set powdered make up to make it look flawless/poreless. And with a good primer (I highly recommend The glow recipe’s strawberry AHA blur drops) using these powder puffs will make your make up look flawless! Tried and true!
