My wife likes these triangular makeup puff pads. Each is about 3 and includes a satin ribbon on the back to loop your finger through. The set I received contained 3 purple and 3 grey puffs. The triangular shape adds versatility - the wide flat and slightly rounded end can be used for broad powder applications, while the pointed end provides more precision for creams or semi-solid makeup. The synthetic velour material is quite soft -- not irritating or scratchy on skin. This type of material also works well to apply powders, as it traps the powder and doesnt immediately fall of before application. The pads can be readily cleaned via hand-washing; not issues thus far.
