We got this product originally when there was a lice outbreak at our kids school. Weve ended up using it just for everyday conditioner, because the kids like it so much. Anyone with kids know how tough it can be to get some kids to wash their hair...well, with this, our kids actually get excited about it! All of us love the scent (fresh, but not overpowering), the ease of use, the fact it doesnt weigh down their hair afterwards (they both have very fine hair, but lots of it), and how quickly it gets rid of tangles. Especially in combo with the Fairy Tales Detangling Spray (another fave of our household). I think every kid should use this product, definitely as long as theyre in school and we have a say over what they use to wash their hair!

We love this line. My daughters hair always smells good and looks beautiful. Knock on wood, weve had no lice issues either.

I only heard about Fairy Tales products after I had my first child. Three kids later - I have to say... Love, love, love the Rosemary Repel Shampoo & Conditioner, and Leave-in Conditioning Spray!!! My eldest (almost 8yo) has been using a combination of the shampoo/conditioner/leave-in conditioner since she was in the 2-year pre-K program. I had read a prior review from a mother with much older kids saying that she used the 3 products throughout her kids elementary school years, years in which the schools reported numerous lice outbreaks, but never had her kids bring any lice home. So based on that review, and multiple other positive reviews, I invested in the products. My daughter takes a bath every school night, as does my son - using the Rosemary Repel Shampoo/Conditioner, and in the morning before going to school, we spray their hair with the Rosemary Leave-in Conditioning Spray. It might sound like an overzealous regimen to some, but I remember the grief I once caused my Mom when I was a kid and brought lice home (much to her chagrin), spreading it to my siblings. I cant tell you how many notices Ive received informing me of yet another lice outbreak in my kids schools. All things being said, and these 6 years later, weve yet to wrestle with the grief of lice at home *knock on wood*. And I daresay, I feel pretty confident that for future lice outbreaks in school, were covered provided we continue to use the Fairy Tale products as prescribed above.

Im sold on this product to prevent lice for my school age children. My two daughters got lice from school when they were 4 and 5. Since the use of all Fairy Tale products, so far theyve avoided getting lice again despite the annual reports I get from school of lice issues! Our daughters are now 9 and 7. We love all the Fairy Tale products, leave in conditioner, gel and hairspray. It is very effective!

I bought this years ago when my children’s school had a lice outbreak. I originally bought at a health food store. It works well my kids nor I had ever got lice and I use this on them once a week and use the detanhlw spray daily on their heads. I also spray the book bags and coats just to repel the buggars from hitching a ride from school.

After reading online that 34% of school aged kids have lice at any given time during the school year, I decided it was time to take preventative measures. I talked to a few people I knew and discovered that most of them weren’t doing anything to prevent lice, but those that were all said that they were using Fair Tales products . I can’t yet speak to whether these products actually work for preventing lice because my kids have not been exposed to it since we started using it (at least not that I know of), but I can say that I love that this product is all natural and organic. I can also say that I like the smell and that it makes all of our hair feel clean and look shiny. Even IF it doesn’t actually work to prevent lice, I’d buy it again for those reasons alone. I just wish it was cheaper because at these prices I may not be able to afford to buy it all the time.

It has kept my childs hair soft and silky and manageable.
