> 3 dayI love this tape measure. I dont know why they call this a reverse although that IS the reason I bought it. I think all the other tape measures should be called reverse. Most people (like 90%) write with their right hand, as do I. When I use a tape measure, I hook it from right and pull it to the left, so I end up with the tape measure in my left hand and my pencil in my right hand ready to make a mark on the piece of wood Im to cut. When I do this Im looking at all the numbers and fractions upside down. So I have to crank my head around to read a normal tape measure. I was at home depot trying to buy a tape measure like this one, but they had none. They had about 2000 regular measures but not one reverse. I even had the guy working there demonstrat to me how he uses a tape measure, and sure enough he uses it just like me, and has to crank his head around to read the numbers. I guess people are use to reading from left to right, but with numbers it takes about 4 second to get use to reading from right to left. Ill never buy a normal tape measure again. Oh yeah, It has a pencil sharpener, two separate locks, one that snaps in place and the other your finger has to hold (which is really convenient) and it has a dry erase surface on its side to write your measurements so you dont need paper. I dont usually get too excited about a tape measure, but this thing is sweet. I dont know how tough it is, because I havent had it for very long, but it seems nice and heavy and sturdy.

> 3 dayNO MORE MISTAKES. Have you ever read a tape upside down and wrote 5/8 instead of 3/8? Cant do that with this tape. Im not quite ecstatic about the markings; stud locations are very well marked at 16 intervals, however FOOT markings are small and not well differentiated from the other markings.

> 3 dayI really like this tape measure. One area where it really shines for me is allowing a quick check for the distance between the front and back of my table saw blade and the fence. Will also be buying the lay flat one as well.
