> 3 dayScrewing up through the top plates is much faster than those damn hurricane clips; plus it puts the uplift force closer to the plywood face where it belongs. Brilliant yet simple innovation here.

Greater than one weekThese screws are GREAT... good quality, nicely painted black, and as the head is flat, it nearly disappears once installed. They come with the Driver bit, so no need to look for one. Very happy, to the point that Im using this in various other projects.

> 3 dayi use these screws for fastening kitchen islands to the floor, ive been using these screws for this for sometime, pretty much since they came out with them, they are perfect and amazing this is the first time having bought them online,,, i now find myself trying to figure out how to kick myself in the butt for not buying them here before ive been purchasing them at one of the 2 popular hardware/lumber chains since using them and it is the exact same product but at a fraction of the cost,,,,cant beat that

> 3 dayThese are great screws. The other reviewers have covered their good points. There is a catch--the driver needed to use them. While it certainly resists cam-out, the teeth or splines on the drivers tend to break all too easily--sometimes after driving only 20-30 screws. I dont know whether the problem is with the number of points, which makes each drive spline too thin, or inadequate heat-treating, or what. I do know that if, like me, you use this type of screw in large quantities (I am a builder and specifically a timber-framer), you will need a significant back-up supply of the drivers. That said, I continue to use these screws for their strength, good looks, and durability.

> 3 dayI use this product for making quick tables, support shelves and even wood hassocks. Notice the head configuration....You can quick assemble 90 degree wood joining...just drill a small home in the edge of the lumber and the other board. Screw them together with the fastener and you discover the joint is quite strong. I suggest that they be used on real lumber and not MDF board. The screw heads are quite presentable and actually look decorative. Im always looking for better ways to join wood pieces together.

Greater than one weekGlad I saw reviews of these screws on some woodworking websites and decided to buy them. I used them to build a large workbench (connecting 4x4s and 2x4s)...much easier than traditional hex-head lag screws or carriage bolts Ive used in the past. Though they say no pilot hole is needed, I found they are so aggressive when being drilled in, they can/will split wood if installed too close to the edge. Pilot holes eliminated that problem. Other than that situation, they really dont need pilot holes. They wide head eliminates the need to use washers, saving time and money, yet allows them to be driven flush or even countersunk. Would happily use them again.
