This product may work for other people, but its a no go for me. The charging light indicators are way too bright to use in a bedroom (in my opinion). It would be fine if your switch is in another room. The bends/tension in the USB cable easily topple the stand over, especially when its empty. The stand isnt really weighted on the bottom. Trying to insert/remove the joycons one handed will surely result in the entire stand flipping over because theres no weight to it. Also, this setup takes up a lot of space. Ill be exchanging this for a more modular design that connects directly to the switch dock without the messy USB cable (and without the ridiculously bright red/green charging indicator lights). If all you need is a messy, bright charger then this still works at charging the joycons.

Easy to use

Will not take flatter/ergonomic controllers.

This little charger is great for the money. We have both Nintendo and off-brand controllers and all of them connect and charge without a problem. I like how it goes from red to green light to tell you the controller is charged. Only drawback is the lights stay on and they are bright. But I just unplug it when I need the room to be dark, and recharge the controllers later. No biggie.

It does the job but it loses connection and flickers often.

This does exactly what it says it will. It charges the joy-cons quickly and easily. The light turns red when it is charging, green when it is done. The only problem is that even when no joy-cons are on it the light still stays on which is annoying at night. I have to unplug it after every use.

So I recently got the switch oled as a gift and needed a charging dock as I have 4 controllers. I found this one after looking for an inexpensive one and I am totally loving it. I love that it’s red when the controllers’ battery are low and it switches to green once they’re fully charged. I also love that it’s little and doesn’t take too much space. I gave it 3 stars in durability just because I’ve only had it for a few days.

For the cost this charger works as expected. My only complaint is the light doesnt turn off when nothing is hooked it. Unfortunately the green light is very bright which means we have to unplug it if we want the darkness were used to. If that doesnt matter then buy away

Great buy. Works great. It is very bright, so we use it as a night light as well.
