The provided cord plugs right into the side of the switch dock and has plenty of slack (3 feet) to place this charging dock wherever you want near your switch. It quickly charges the joycons and has an obvious green or red indicator light that lets you know when the controller is charged.

Product was as advertised it is well made for the price it looks really nice with the lights and as easy as you can get to set up ( plug & play ) will follow up if defective.
