Feit Electric BPXN20/G8/3 Xenon 20-Watt, 120-Volt G8 Base, 3 Pack

Its pretty much a Xenon bulb, they can be pretty expensive and I usually get them at Lowes. Amazon has a 3 pack thats cheaper than a two pack at my local store. As long as they keep em, Ill keep getting them from Amazon....

These are xenon bulbs, not halogen bulbs. They run cooler and last longer than halogen. Feit is a major national brand, and youll find their products in all the big box stores. Could be tough to mix with halogens, as these are a higher color temperature. Looked at two different big box stores. Only found halogens at $5.99/$4.99 per bulb. In a fixture properly installed and designed for a xenon bulb, they will give extraordinary life compared to halogens (close to twice). Were using them in under cabinet lights and also in above cabinet lights that shine up for ambient life. Use them a lot and only replace them roughly every 3-4 years.

The fit was perfect, but the description was not. I was hoping these would indeed be a cooler white and burn cooler, but they are the same color, and just as hot.

These burn out so fast. Spend your money on a better quality bulb.

I cant believe one bulb blew out in 3 months! Its my office desk light i dont leave it on for long periods of time. Less than 8 hrs a day. Will try another brand.

Worked great as replacement bulbs in my under-cabinet lighting. Just be sure to get the proper size / watt / length of prong when buying bulbs. These little boogers are quite expensive, but I saved over $1.25 a bulb buying online rather than in a local store. Quite a diff over 6 bulbs. Happy. :-)

Been using this Xenon lamp for years. Have to replace about six in any one year (nine fixture system). Being outdoors, they are obviously subject to every condition Mother Nature can throw at them so they do occasionally fail but don’t think one could expect otherwise. No issues.
