> 3 dayI bought a couple of these at Costco as a package deal with some extension cords. They worked great (once I got them connected to the WiFi) and I had a need for more, so I bought two more from Amazon. Between the time I bought the new ones and their arrival, the old ones started to malfunction. They would go offline and not turn on/off according to the set schedule. Then one of them completely stopped working. The new ones were just as difficult to get working. One of those stopped working within a week or so of getting them also. When they ARE doing what they’re supposed to do, they do a great job. But for unknown reasons, they disconnect from my wifi and then have to be reinstalled. This happens often and it’s a PITA to get them to connect. It takes a good 5-10 minutes per attempt while sitting outside in the cold, multiple attempts later, they may connect. I would have gone another way if I realized the hassle they were going to be.

> 3 dayI bought a couple of these because I already have a bunch of Feit floodlight/security cameras installed. I can control every device from one app and also send out commands via Google Home. Im using one of these plugs to run my space heater in my basement office. I can just hit the button in the Feit app or do a Hey Google, turn off office heater. HOWEVER, you MUST have a 2.4GHz-only network set up to use any of the Feit products, and they are very susceptible to interference. I have a tech background and I was able to string together a bunch of old routers and set them to specific frequencies so the Feit devices would get reliable connections throughout my house and my garage, but someone that doesnt have a background in setting up wireless networks is probably going to get frustrated with these devices dropping on and off their network. If you have a mesh network set up in your house, be prepared to create a separate 2.4GHz network with additional routers and range extenders if you want these things to work.

> 3 dayI ended up with two of these. Ive bought the indoor switches and bulbs supplied by Feit and have been very happy with them, and the ease of using the app. I have some outdoor fountains and waterfalls, and I wanted to get them controlled by an app. I dont run them all the time, and I didnt like plugging/unplugging the extension cords. So I got these. They work great, and I can even have Alexa turn them on or off from anywhere in the house. So heres the trick. Outside might be a struggle for them to find your wifi when initializing. I plug them into a socket near the router, and do the initialization there. Once they are installed to the app, and working, I unplug them, and plug them in at the outside outlet. They work perfectly. These are nice, heavy duty construction. They also have a manual button on the outside so you can turn them on or off without Alexa or the app.

> 3 dayI put an aeration system into our pond and wanted to run a custom schedule. I plugged my two pumps into the Feit plug, and voila, I control my pumps through an app on my phone. The plug and app are super easy to navigate and control. Thanks for a great product!

> 3 dayWe use these for Halloween and Christmas, and have one in the backyard for our fence lighting. Its so easy to tell Alexa to turn things on and off, or set a timer with the app.

> 3 dayThese work fairly well. Sometimes it losses wifi connection, not sure if it’s our wifi fault, the distance it is from the hotspot or the plugs but it just goes offline. This will happen a few times a month. I find I need to reset it manually, unplugging it and plugging it back in. Although sometimes even when the device is online the timer won’t work, meaning it won’t turn on or off when we set it to in the app. We also have indoor plugs and bulbs with this band and they do the same thing. It is easy to just open the app and turn it on if need be. Also if the plug is in an easily accessible spot you can turn it off and on by the button. Overall ok but not very consistent.
