I’m new to Alexa, and even I could figure out how to install this on my patio! Which means you can too. Easy installation (just read the instructions) and works well! I love having all my outdoor lights controlled by this device!

Very easy to get set up and working. Use on my covered porch for string lights that had to be plugged in and unplugged each time to use. Plug is not in the easiest place to get to. This made it to where simply giving Alexa a command or opening the app. Also has a button to turn on/off as well.

Used to connect string lights on screen porch. Easy to install app which allowed very simple integration with Alexa. No longer need to plug in cord to turn on lights. Just say “Alexa: turn on porch lights!”

Description reads as you can control two devices with one plug, but the settings are shared. I have water features that should turn on before my outdoor lights. However, Im not able to set different timers for each different devices. Sadness.

I bought two of these to use in my yard from Christmas decorations. Purring the first one with the app was no problem. Parring the second one was a pain. I don’t know if it’s because the app didn’t like that there were two of the same thing, or if it was the unit itself that wouldn’t pair. After trying on and off for a couple hours it finally worked. My only real complaint it that you can’t turn the individual plugs on and off like the Smart Home wifi outdoor plug that I also have. But since I have a couple other Feit smart lights I was trying to stick with one brand and only needing one app, and the price was better for these.

The cable that plugs into the outlet was very stiff, so there was no way to manipulate it in my covered outlet box that it didn’t over the other outlet, rendering it unusable. I wanted to use this on my covered balcony for some Edison lights I have wrapped around the rails. I didn’t have difficulty setting it up in my app (all my indoor lights are Feit as well), but it stopped working less than a week after install. I couldn’t believe it. I pressed the box reset multiple times, tested my string lights directly in the same outlet, brought the smart cord inside to test it in a different outlet—nothing. RETURNED.

Im a big fan of decorations for Halloween and christmas. For many years I have used the photo sent all timers to try to coordinate when my lights and decorations would turn on. They would never turn on at the same time because the shadows would hit them a few minutes apart. With these, they are extremely easy to use. You connect them to the app on your phone or tablet and set a timer. You can also do multiple timers. They will come on when they are scheduled and turn off when you schedule them. I have used them for the Christmas season and so far I have had no issues whatsoever. They are really simple to set up. In order to set them up though, you have to download the app and then run it really close to the device until it picks it up. Once it has picked it up you set your schedule you plug your items in and you are good to go.

I ended up with two of these. Ive bought the indoor switches and bulbs supplied by Feit and have been very happy with them, and the ease of using the app. I have some outdoor fountains and waterfalls, and I wanted to get them controlled by an app. I dont run them all the time, and I didnt like plugging/unplugging the extension cords. So I got these. They work great, and I can even have Alexa turn them on or off from anywhere in the house. So heres the trick. Outside might be a struggle for them to find your wifi when initializing. I plug them into a socket near the router, and do the initialization there. Once they are installed to the app, and working, I unplug them, and plug them in at the outside outlet. They work perfectly. These are nice, heavy duty construction. They also have a manual button on the outside so you can turn them on or off without Alexa or the app.
