Fiebings Saddle Soap

Great Product! Works very well and brought back the lustre of my leather furniture and other leather goods. My only issue was the product was delivered dented on the bottom and on the rim of the tin. I had to reshape the lid with pliers in order to get the tin opened and to shut properly.

I craft a good deal of hand made watch straps. Just about every strap I make goes through a coat or two of saddle soap. The quality of the Fiebings product is unmatched. It is the versatility of the product that really keeps me coming back though. I use it on everything, it is especially good on leather vehicle interiors. It makes car specific products obsolete in my opinion. I have 2 BMW M3s, 1 a 2002 that has 90K miles and I have used Fiebrings on it with every detail. The cars interior looks brand spanking new. My latest addition, a 2012 has also benefited from Fiebrings products and though too early to make the same statement, I see no discernible wear; In fact, I think the interior looks better than it did when I rolled off the showroom floor! Baseball gloves, leather furniture, handbags, saddle bags. shoes & boots, I have even used it on rims and tires to protect against salt damage in the winter. The key to a product like this is to know its limitations. For stains on leather, you may have to use an actual leather cleaner. Though there are mild cleaning properties to saddle soap, I look at this more as a conditioner and protector. For tougher cleaning you may need something like Lexol or Bickmore leather cleaners before using saddle soap. If you are dealing with heavy color loss, fading or staining, you may need to use a dye first, then seal and protect. Fiebings had products for all of these situations and they are app top quality.

Love this stuff. Use it on my leather sofa and it took all but the most stubborn stains. No residue or smell left behind that I can tell.
