Fiebings Saddle Soap

I was told in no uncertain terms by a leatherworker that I needed to rejuvenate my 35-year-old leather fannypack/camera case with this stuff, since it was starting to get crackles. It works well, restoring moisture and flexibility, though it does leave a little bit of a greasy residue. Whether this will soak in or dry, Im not sure. Its been a week.

I am giving this product a 4-star rating but would like to give it 5 stars. I am new to cowboy boots myself but my wife has two pairs. So I cleaned her boots with with the saddle soap before conditioning with Bick 4. I only conditioned my boots as they are nearly new. The brown pair of my wifes boots came out great. They are a smooth finish leather and lost a little shine though. But the cleaning and conditioning made them look nearly new, just not shiny though I dont think conditioner does much for shine. But here is the caveat. I did my wifes oldest pair which had a smooth, grey finish and it took the grey color away. Well, the conditioner did or the saddle soap or the combination of both. To be fair, the boots showed some wear on the sides and they arent expensive boots. My theory is the underlying color of the leather came through. I would like to try a grey shoe polish on them but my wife wont let me touch them now for fear of further damage. So if anyone has experience with this, post a comment and let me know if the polish will bring the original color back.

Need this for my shoes! But whats in it!? I was told by a shoe repairman that the EPA has banned the substances use in it.

The best part of this soap is I dont have to clean the saddle before using this to clean the saddle, if that makes any sense. My saddle and leather boots are not only clean, but protected by this soap too. I originally purchased it years ago at a horse expo and now Im glad I found it again.

Used one on the car seat but start raining heavily i I will try again , smile good, feeling like silk Looking forward to use it in a dry day. Recommend

Used Fiebings on my riding boots, equipment as well as purses & shoes for years. The quality remains the same. Wipe off excess after cleaning so stitching will not rot...ever.
