We have lots of allergies in our house, so I’m always looking for ways to keep allergens at bay. This version of filters was the beat rated on Consumer Reports, so we switched. They seem to pick up more & depending on the weather may need to be changed more frequently. They cost more than regular filters, but I think they are well worth the extra money. I’ve looked for them at local big box stores, but the cost was higher. The price seems to fluctuate here, so I suggest keeping an eye on them so you can purchase when there is a price drop.

This review is for the 16x25x1 (6 pack). For the last few years, I have been using a reusable filter that is supposed to last ten years which has worked ok for about 6 years, but as I found out over long term use, they don’t seem to clean the air as well as regular disposable filters with the same MERV rating. In addition, after the reusable filters get dirty over the first year or so, they don’t really clean out very well. So, I have gone back to these Filtrete filters after having a yearly A/C checkup. What really convinced me was the filter that the A/C tech put in was noticeably dirtier after 3 months than my reusable one (which is supposed to be equivalent to this filter), resulting in me changing my mind on how effective I thought they were. I do think these are a bit pricy per filter (the six pack is a bit better priced but still expensive), but these filters are made well and filter the dirty air very well. The filters fit in the slot like they are supposed to do with no issues. 4 stars

Filters for perfectly and do a great job!

The package was obviously opened by someone prior to delivery. Tapes were pulled up on one end and the flaps were left open. Box was retrieved just a few minutes after being left on the porch - ring camera showed no one tampering with it. Amazon delivery person had to leave it upside down to prevent the contents from falling out. If the filters were not individually wrapped the order would have been returned. --- 3M clearly displayed on the outside of the package --- Filters are expensive but seem to be superior to others.

Installed easy and did its job

Air Filters for our size furnace are hard to find. Happy Amazon sells something that helps me breathe and a reasonable price!
