> 3 dayThese filter are thick and well made. When we moved into our home 1 1/2 years ago there was a stack of filters in the garage they were so we used them. We live in southwest Arizona and it is dusty and the wind blows almost every day. When we replaced those cheap filters with these it made such a difference. Less dust in the air made it easier to breathe .

> 3 dayThese are garbage. So flimsy the first shipment was bent by other items in the box. The second batch arrived undamaged but one of them got crushed in storage. I will not be buying these again.

> 3 dayThis is one of these products where it is pretty difficult to judge how good it is. I have no way of measuring the cleanliness of the air in my house, or the count of dust particles or what ever, so how can you really know? Having said that, the filter fit better over the air inlet opening; it actually keeps itself in place, whereas the old one I had to secure with some folded paper towel. This one is about .5 to .75 inch larger, in ACTUAL measurement, so I suggest measuring the opening and not going by the size you previously had. It also means that there are no longer small gaps around the perimeter of the filter. You would hope that prevents some dust being sucked in when the AC or heat kicks in. Sounds quieter too. As always, choice is a matter of compromise: the higher the MERV rating, the harder your AC or heat will have to work to suck the air through the filter. Apart from the strain this puts on your system, it seems to me this must also run up your electricity bill more than might be necessary. So I did my research online, and decided that this filter was the best compromise for my situation. And it seems to work fine (although it always amazes me how quickly the inside of a house gets dusty when you look closely) and it is quieter, so a good choice for me.

> 3 dayGreat price when the big box stores bumped prices up on the same item. I dont let them go the full 3 months, but use a marker and put the date and then try to replace them every 2 months. These offer more of the filters youd want from a filter, better than the paper thin ones that only collect dust. I do believe my family is better off using these filters because of what they filter out. Will continue to buy them.
