These filter are thick and well made. When we moved into our home 1 1/2 years ago there was a stack of filters in the garage they were so we used them. We live in southwest Arizona and it is dusty and the wind blows almost every day. When we replaced those cheap filters with these it made such a difference. Less dust in the air made it easier to breathe .

My wife is sensitive to pet dander (we have a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd in the house). Before installing this filter, her allergies were giving her a fit. After just a few days of installing this filter her symptoms all but disappeared. Great product that does what it says it does!

I have been using these air filters since getting a brand-new AC unit installed and having them recommended by my AC guy. He said... You just spent 20,000 dollars on a new unit so please stop using generic air filters that entirely defeat the purpose of why you just changed out your entire system. He wasnt wrong. I have noticed a massive difference since switching from a generic to 3M Filtrete. I change them a bit more often because I suffer from bronchiectasis and perpetual sinus issues all year long, living in Arizona. Plus, I have an over-the-top fuzzy dog that sheds like a Christmas tree in July. All year long. I absolutely recommend these air filters as your go-to. Just throw them on your subscribe and save and enjoy the benefits of a trusted brand that wont wreck your AC and Heating system. I mean these are your lungs we are talking about. Youre going to notice a difference. Our entire house has less allergies whenever we pop a new filter in. They recommend every 60 days (2 months), but I change it monthly in the summer (Arizona is brutal for spores and dust storms) and every 2 months in the winter because we dont really use the heater unless it goes below 40 at night. Awesome product. Im pretty much a customer for life. Sneezing, wheezing and being itchy all the time is a drag. Lifes too short for that. Be itchy free!

Filtrete used to be very well built. I am not impressed any more for this AC filter rated 1000 MPR.

We live in a house that could be described as having too many pets. I mean, WE certainly wouldnt describe it that way, but many would. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs and trust me, hair and animal dander are a huge problem. Couple that with the fact the man of the house, yours truly, is allergic to said hair and animal dander and it presents a daunting challenge. The Filtrete Micro Allergen air filters are a godsend. We have a large house with two AC units, upstairs and downstairs. The pets tend to hang out upstairs (lots of good sunlight and bird watching) and even after nearly daily vacuuming, the filter really picks up quite a bit of stuff. Weve tried cheaper filters but like the cliche, you truly get what you pay for. The Filtrete filters arent exorbinant and the small added cost is well worth the investment. I replace ours monthly and we wont use any other air filter.
