I like the idea of this perch. My bird has yet to use it, but as soon as she gets used to it she will.

I bought this perch for my DYH Amazon. It is a decent size for him. He is still a little scared of it because its new. lol I just wanted to say to beware of the photos that these company use. It shows a Macaw sitting on it. LOL Theres not one Macaw that could it on it! They are too big. So what Ive noticed it that they photoshop all kind of birds sitting on their perches and have no idea of the size of the birds. So check the actual dimensions before purchasing. My Amazon fits nicely, but I wouldnt recommend it for a larger bird.

Only an inch of wood at ends..it actually came apart ..texture too rough for my birds comfort

It is difficult to clean, but we usually replace it when that happens. It lasts a long time.

Buddy has hardly sat on this perch attached to his cage.

Was easy to put together and mount onto the cage and it fit perfectly where I wanted it (around the birds water dish) and I’m very happy with the product as it’s both sturdy and rough so perfect for filing sharp nails.
