I am replacing a pair I have misplaced. They look, feel and work exactly the same!

these are lefty scissors.

Fiskars makes great scissors; I just prefer the kitchen scissors which come apart for cleaning.

Ive had a couple of pairs of these (orange handled) Fiskars scissors for over 10 years now. Had to buy a second pair because my wife kept commandeering my pair, leaving me with a pair of 5 kiddy scissors. These cut very well. When they were new, I tried to demonstrate to my wife how tough and uncutable Kevlar was, but was shocked to discover they would cut it without problems. Kevlar is notoriously difficult to cut, and people who do so professionally will reserve their Kevlar shears for cutting it exclusively, never using it for anything else, as they have to be very sharp to cut cleanly. Mine are too dull now for Kevlar, but still cut paper, light plastics and cardboard cleanly. They will snag on wrapping paper occasionally, but Im getting a sharpener in hopes of returning them to near original sharpness.

I bought these for my Mom, since a lot of her scissors seem to have gone bad or disappeared. There is nothing like Fiskars Scissors! Theyre the best!

Im 38 years old. Im left handed. I didnt realize the significant difference having left handed scissors is for pretty much all things cutting.

Good quality, nice and sharp, cuts well.

My left handed son is really looking forward to having some scissors that he can use. The packaging was not in good shape for a brand new item.
