Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 Charging Cable, Official Product

I take incredible care of all my products that I own & I never have any issues with anything that I own. However, this charging cable is poorly engineered. This is my 2nd one & it has officially broke after ~ 8 months. It isnt me, its the charging cable....the pins are engineered to break. I shouldnt need 2 charging cables in less than 2 years but with the Fitbit sense I do. They need to redesign their charging approach. I recommend finding a competitor smartwatch that has better a charging design that is less prone to failure. What a shame, because I do like Fitbits products, its just this charging approach is a bad engineering design. If you get a Fitbit sense, expect to regularly shell out $ for charging cables. This is not what any consumer deserves. FITBIT, STEP YOUR GAME UP!

I previously purchased an off brand charger. I kept getting messages about slow charging so I went ahead and purchased the fitbit brand charger. I no longer get that message BUT the difference in the time it takes to charge is infinitesimal.

Update Jan 23: I ordered generic (3rd party) replacement chargers here on Amazon. They are still working great! First, I must say that I really like my Fitbit Sense watch. It does what I want it to do. The original charger that came with the watch failed after 6 months. One of the 4 metal charging points actually came out, rendering the charger useless. So I ordered this replacement charger from Amazon in July 2022. It is now November 2022 and last night I discovered that one of those same 4 metal charging points is somehow pushed in and no longer makes contact with the phone. So here I am, 4 months after ordering this, and I am 3 months past Amazons return period. This is not a simple case of cleaning the contacts - its a hardware/manufacturing fail. So in a nutshell: A - These chargers are not well built; expect one of the 4 contacts to fail. B - If you are going to order an official Fitbit charger, you are better off ordering from the Fitbit site. That site states there is a 1-year limited warranty. (Im not sure what exactly it covers, but its better than the 2-month window from Amazon!) I decided to order a pair of 3rd party chargers here on Amazon. Wish me luck!

I bought this because the aftermarket alternatives looked like they might damage the watch. This is a OEM quality cable, but like the original, its too short to reach from an adapter in an outlet to a watch sitting on your desk. You can use it with a device like a laptop, but then the watch complains that its charging slowly.

The pins on these chargers tend to break. Needed a new charger. This was exactly as advertised and arrived quickly. Advise to store in box when not on use and dont let the magnet grab the pin side to hard to the fitbit to protect pins

It does charge fast like the original charger does and says its a fit bit brand. I still dont like that the cord isnt that long but it works well
