> 3 dayI usually get nervous buying screens as they may not work all that well, BUT this screen set was absolutely amazing. Everything you need in one box. Highly recommend!! Thank you FixCracked for taking the time to ship quality products. I will definitely be back to order more.

> 3 dayPicked this product because it was the most expensive one in the category with the highest number of reviews/ buyers. I’m pretty handy and went through a step by step video off YouTube and methodically and successfully removed the original glass, disconnected the cables removed the bezel, cleaned the frame and reconnected the cables of this product and luckily the video suggested testing it by turning o mahe iPad before adhering it. No luck, to my utter disappointment and despite a spotless install (I video documented mine to that point hoping to upload to YouTube to help others!) So to recap, the digitizer and home button were absolutely non responsive, and I repackaged everything and returned right away. The tools they provide in the package though are not flimsy and they are surprisingly quite effective and I did not need to use any other tools in order to open the iPad. I went ahead and ordered a glass/ digitizer of another brand which is less expensive and in delivery right now. Problem is that with this Fixcrackef item not working, the iPad has now remained on, running the risk of shorting the circuitry during the second install. If the new screen doesn’t work either, will turn the iPad in and pay the high cost of having it professionally fixed.

> 3 dayDigitizer replacement kit seemed to be complete, nice assortment of tools, included new bezel, wifi antenna, Home button was pre-installed, adhesive was pre-applied, just have to remove adhesive backing before applying to iPad. That is where the good stops! I found the cables to attach the digitizer and Home button to the iPad to be very thin and difficult to handle, but I was able to get both fully inserted. I tested the digitizer before attempting to glue in place, thank goodness, the digitizer nor the Home button worked. I tried re-inserting the cables, still no luck. My old digitizer worked, but the top 1/4 of the screen was dead. I was able to remove it intact, so I had to put it back on my iPad to be able to turn it off since the new screen did not work at all, luckily it worked as it had before removing, I was able to turn off the iPad. I returned the kit for full refund, bought another brand for same price (but it did not include bezel or wifi antenna, neither of which I needed), the new one seemed to be a much better quality, cables were better quality, worked on first try! I removed the adhesive backing and put it in place permanently, my old iPad 4 is now like new! I do not recommend this screen, please check all the reviews before buying, sort by latest. BTW, I see many comments about strands of hot melt glue on back of screen, mine had that too, but it was actually on the clear protective layer that you are to remove before permanently affixing screen. There is a tab to grab the protective layer under the Home button ribbon cable. There is a protective layer on the front of the screen as well, but it is a bit more obvious than the one on back of screen.

> 3 dayThe instructions included were good, although Id recommend anyone attempting this to head over to iFixit.com for step by step instructions with photos included. I give this 4 stars because its nice that they included a replacement wifi module but 1 star is lost because the home button is pretty low quality, I ended up taking the OEM button and using that instead. The adhesive on this replacement glass isnt up to the same quality as OEM as well, but for $20, I can look past that. If you have the cellular CDMA/GSM model, take care when prying the top part off. There is a rectangular cellular antenna on the left and right of the face camera. They are adhered to the glass so take caution when prying them off. IF you dont care about cellular then by all means whatever. Be careful when attaching the new digitizer ribbon cable to the motherboard connectors. It takes a bit of force to get them to insert because the OEM cable is a very very very small amount thinner than this replacement, I would estimate about 1/10 mm thinner than this cable. It took approximately 2 hours to do this replacement. My main piece of advice is to TAKE IT SLOW. Before tackling this job, make sure to cover your entire glass screen with clear tape, this ensures when you are prying the glass off the small glass shards dont pierce your fingers. Believe me, the glass WILL crack under the pressure of prying. I used a hair dryer to slowly warm the edges so the OEM adhesive will be easier to remove. The flat metal scraper included is the best tool, I didnt even use any of the rest. Make sure to be careful to make sure the home button ribbon cable is properly secured in place on the motherboard. The first time when attaching glass onto iPad, I didnt realize the ribbon cable slipped out of the connector so I had to carefully heat and pry the glass off AGAIN and take the LCD screen off the reattach the cable.
