1/4 of screen doesn’t work. I’m told it’s the digitizer. Something lice that. Poor product

Because the instructions literally just stop, I had to wing it. I was not in a location that I could watch YouTube videos but in reality, I shouldnt have too. Because of the instructions that end prematurely, I ended up crimping the home button ribbon so now my home button doesnt work. Very disappointed.

Fit perfectly on my sons iPad the iPad looks brand new works great. My son is happy that he can now use his iPad. Was easy for the person who installed it.

Comes with everything you need for the job and fits perfectly. My go to when replacing a screen.

The digitizer works. Inclusion of camera bracket, home button assembly and cable, and adhesive strips already attached are all welcome features. Anyone with more experience at this than myself wouldnt have had my minor problems. I found thin strands of glue stuck to the inside surface and ending up putting scratches on it trying to remove it. This might not have been a problem if there was a protective cover on the inside as well as the outside surface. The home button cable doesnt have adhesive supplied to keep it in place which would have been useful when closing it up. Another problem not related to the product that others might find useful: I found the LCD cable plug/tab to be more difficult to get seated than indicated in any of the YouTube videos. It definitely snapped in, but the LCD would not turn on. After several inspections and attempts at reinstalling I pushed down on it more forcefully out of desperation. I didnt feel any additional snap, but it finally came on.

Overall was a good screen in the beginning, worked good initially but having some issues after a month of usage. Home button doesn’t work to well, has sorta caved in on one side. It takes too long to install something like this so avoid junk and save time. I asked for the seller to send me another and the response was “ok!”........been 2 weeks and no replacement so I assume sarcasm.

Upset with this product quality, mostly because of the home button assembly. Upon completing the install and testing out the iPad before final assembly, the home button was not functioning. Upon closer inspection, I could see that it was poorly put together, and the button was sliding out of alignment with the cable. I ended up having to scavenge the home button from the old digitizer. I was really excited about the product, but in the end it was a disappointment. Also developed a hairline crack, so I had to reorder the part. Going with a different vendor.

The round button is garbage - loose when it works, falls out and have to use a sharp point to pull it back into place. Extremely disappointed, now have to replace with a better quality screen and good button.

The pre-glued on parts were nice, but they were not centered properly and pinched one of the flat cables. The screen worked for a few days then started to behave weird, like someone was pressing on the screen when in fact nobody was. Slightly prying back up the screen where the pinched cable was helped, but it will need to be completely replaced.

My screen did not work, returned it and purchased from a different vendor. I’m sure mine was the one in a 100 that did not work, all is well return was easy. Replacement from different vendor worked great. Two stars because nothing lost and it came with all the needed tools.
