> 3 dayThe short. It worked. Would never buy anything from this seller again. The long. The six tools included were decent quality. Problem is the seller advertises tools not included. There was no *1 Alochol Pack There was no *1 Screw Magnet Nor was there a packing list or instructions on using the tools. Since this was a clients iPad, I couldnt wait a couple more days and drove to the store for rubbing alcohol. I used a piece of tape to manipulate the tiny screws. The digitizer appears fully functional and works. Just wish I didnt get that ebay feeling. Also a proper adhesive solvent pack would have been nice as seen in some videos. Sparing vegetable oil on a Q-tip (let rest for 60 minutes) works better softening the adhesive than alcohol. Scrap the adhesive. Then use the alcohol and cotton swabs to clean all the oil. Repairing a screen takes patience and good eyesight. It rate it from Medium to Hard. Watch at least the iCracked youtube from start to finish the full 50 minutes. Because a first time DIY will take maybe 3+ hours.

> 3 dayDigitizer worked well but home button did not work. Had to order a separate home button to not deal with returning product or slow communication speed.

Greater than one weekI attempted to fix an ipad 4 and followed instructions and a video... touchscreen seemed to work fine prior to applying the adhesion strip - the final step. But once I placed the screen on, then the touchscreen only worked in one quadrant and even then it was hit or miss. The previous screen was cracked but worked fine other than the cracked area. This one seems to lose functionality after final install.... but, as I say in the title, perhaps I did it wrong.

> 3 dayProduct worked like a champ. My only complaint is the screen removal is far harder then any of the websites and videos or instructions indicate. Not really a reflection of the product but more a heads up for those wishing to do it. The tip of the plastic pry tools will bend and dent way before it will remove the glass. The hard metal tool had to be used since the suggested plastic one failed miserably.

> 3 dayBeware of other kits that are plastic not glass and get scratched and broken easy. This kit is actually glass and the tools are high quality making the install simple. It took me an hour start to finish and my iPad 4 works perfectly. The home button that came with the kit works which is something I saw other kits having problems with. Make sure you test everything BEFORE you glue it down. The cables are super-sensitive to being just a little out of place.

> 3 day1. Screen works great. No complaints. 2. Adhesive was ok, but had to use a 3rd party adhesive to get it so fully seal. Could use some work here. 3. These screens are a pain to get all the glass and glue off. Knock on the device, not the replacement screen. I was gonna knock off points, but its the fault of the design, not the screen replacement. Once the device is clean, its actually pretty easy to install this replacement. So gave it a 5 instead of a 3.

> 3 dayNo instructions, but YouTube videos sufficed. The tools were great, and I’d like to keep them, but neither the touch screen nor the home button functioned after installation. The original cracked screen worked, so I had to put it back in. I’m pretty sure the replacement was defective.
