This was my first attempt at replacing an iPad screen. I went into it with low expectations both for my abilities and the quality of a non apple screen. I have replace a few iPhone screens so I am not a total moron but close to it. The included instructions were not the greatest but like many others, I watched a few videos and looked online for tips. The hardest part was getting the old screen off because it was shattered but a little patience with the heat gun and it was off. I had a little difficulty by the WiFi antenna but lucky for me, I did not destroy it. Just be careful by it, it is just to the right of the home button. Once the new screen was on i nervously powered the iPad on and to my utter shock and amazement, it worked. Pretty much perfectly, I must say. The screen is not as sensitive or precise as the original but its pretty close. In fact it is probably the best I have seen. I would give it about a 95% accuracy rating and if you have ever used an iPad with a cheap screen, you know what that is like. For the most part, it is about as good as the old screen was before its demise.I would definitely buy another if my clumsiness persists. One small thing, I did get a speck of dust underneath and I noticed it about an hour later. Just for grins, I tried to pry the iPad apart and I was able to do so pretty easily. Maybe the adhesive needs a little time to really get stuck. I the case I have will surely hold it together. Maybe I didnt press it together hard enough, but my intent was not to break the new screen so it will be totally fine

Worked as described

Digitizer did not work at all once installed. Reinstalled my cracked screen and everything worked fine again, so I know it wasnt installer error. Returning item as defective.

Herramientas bien hechas y resistentes. Viene con lo que realmente se necesita para la reparación. El cristal viene bien protegido y se nota que es nuevo. El producto incorpora, además, todas las pegatinas y la junta plástica que se necesita para la reparación, así que no hay que preocuparse por reutilizar piezas viejas. Recomiendo 100% este producto, muy útil para aquellos que preferimos realizar las reparaciones de nuestros dispositivos en casa. Un buen tutorial de Youtube y el kit de reparación son suficientes. Recomendado!

I replaced it myself with this kit...what more can i say...great product.

Ive ordered several of these with no issues. But this ones adhesive wont stick. Was a waste of money

Should have sent a technician with the items.
