Fixodent Ultra Max Hold Denture Adhesive, 2.2 Oz (Pack of 2)

Works as intended

I can count on the grip this paste provides, and wish I could add it to my subscription products, but, for some reason, that option hasnt been offered to me. I did read reviews before buying, and was tickled to see I had the same problem as a customer before me. The dispensing tip of one of the tubes got all stuck up! Good as the product is (holds tight, doesnt taste bad, doesnt leave a web of pasty strings swirling around inside your mouth for all the world to see as you speak or have coffee in public first thing in your day!), its got to come out of the tube to work. The other customer said to cut off that tip. I did. THAT WORKED! I get more than enough coming out for me, now. Its great, and, even if I err on the too much product side, this dries in time for me to rinse with water or mouthwash to keep from looking like that person all of us has seen struggling with a pasty mess in the mouth!!

I used the product to hold upper and lower partials. I just wish flavor was wintergreen mint for over flow when putting partials are pushed in. Works great but flavor is off.

It works as described I have issues with my dentures staying in... so it does help with that the taste is horrible and getting them out is a challenge

I like this adhesive, strong hold.. have to find the amount that works for you. One of the top adhesives I use

I ordered Fixodent Ultra Max Hold in the box that is gold on the left side of the box (UPC Code 037000756057), which is what I thought I was buying but instead received box that is blue on the left side of the box (UPC #037000789208). The name is the same but the new blue box formulation is definitely inferior to the original Ultra Max Hold. The new formulation texture and wear seems no different than their other denture adhesive products which only holds my dentures for 1-3 hours before having to reapply (which I used to do 5 times or more a day). Ultra Max Hold in box that is gold on the left side holds my dentures all day (up to 12 hours or more and I loved it)! I have used Fixodent denture adhesive for years. All my teeth were removed when I was 29 due to Periodontal Disease. I am now 72, female, and do not have much bone structure left In gums to hold dentures in, especially my bottom denture. The original Ultra Max Hold formulation in the box that is gold on the left side is the only product on the market that holds my dentures in so that I can eat and drink comfortably without having to reapply product numerous times each day! Now I cant seem to find the gold Ultra Max Hold boxes as stores are stocking the new formulation (in blue box) which is being FORCED on unsuspecting consumers! I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and QUITE FRUSTRATED in the brand. Why do companies keep removing products that works well for those that need it!!! Being retired and on a fixed income, this really hurts some of us. The original Ultra Max Hold formulation was light pink; yes it is/was thicker, but for those that need a really firm hold I reiterate, the original Ultra was the best darn product on the market. The newer version is falsely advertised and is nothing like the original Ultra formula. Seems they kept the same Ultra name on the box, but instead are just filling tubes with their thinner versions!!! Shame on you!!!

what can i say other than it works

This stuff is no better than the “non-Ultra” variety. Don’t expect any long holding properties using this stuff.

This formula holds well but is too thick. I prefer fixodent plus it holds just as well but tastes better,is more flexible and is by far easier to remove. This stuff does not peel out in a continuous strip like fixodent plus. It has to be painstakingly removed in tiny bits
