Fixodent Ultra Max Hold Denture Adhesive, 2.2 Oz (Pack of 2)

I love that the top denture stays on tight and day no matter what I eat! Sometimes I have to reapply bottom after a meal. But to me that is to be expected. Ive tried many, this is my favorite!

Im surprised as a new dentures user that this works to well. I have 4 implants that failed and these dentures are great

I used denture adhesives for years now and they all had the same shortcoming, especially the upper dentures. When I bit down on something, the upper dentures sometimes came loose and my mouth was trying to chew my teeth as well as the food. I tried this brand and type [ultra] with the hope that it would be different. It was. I have even started putting less adhesive on my teeth because it works so well. As far as removing it goes, there is considerable adhesion but it rarely leaves any of the residue on my upper gums. As for taste [flavor]? It is not something I taste or swallow so I think the question is moot.

When it dries completely, it’s OK this may take a couple hours .

Ive had dentures for 23 years now and have probably used every kind of sealant there is on the market. I normally use fixodent complete but i couldnt order it with the FSA for some reason so i had to go with this ultra max. Its garbage. The applicator tip is larger than the complete so you get more sealant, but the hold is much shorter. I have to replace the sealant daily if not sooner with the ultra max. With the complete, using less sealant i can go at least every other day before it needs to be cleaned and resealed.

I have tried most brands and versions within brands and this one holds the best. Still not perfect but clearly the best of the bunch.

I have used Fixodent Original for a year (and liked it), then tried Cusion Grip Thermoplastic Adhesive. The Cusion Grip absolutely did not work for me. I am now using Fixodent Ultra, and it is the BEST product I’ve tried. No leakage, doesn’t allow food in, great adhesion and lasts all day !!! Thank You Fixodent Ultra.

This version of Fixodent adhesive far better hold; lasts all day! However, the nozzle tip is too wide, leaving wide blobs of product requiring patience to use nozzle to smear blobs into thinner layer all over denture surface. If product available with thinner tip, would be absolutely perfect!!! Add-On a few months later: this product is so effective, you only need the smallest amount possible!! I initially used to use the reg strength Fixodent Plus in large amounts, to hopefully adhere the loose-fitting upper denture in place. This new stronger version only requires the lightest possible use. In using too much, I unknowingly caused my upper palate damage, bleeding, perforations, canker soes, etc. My dentist insisted I use less. I now only use a tiny fraction of the original amount, my mouth has healed, dentures fit well all day!!
