> 3 dayDoesnt eliminate; however, truly reduces the levels of airborne allergens in the bedroom. Been using this unit for several years, with no issues. Ive found that replacement of these filters only occurs, at worst, every 3 months, and if you clean existing filter every month, as suggested for maintenance, they last for up to 5 months.
