    I have used this model of meter for 18 years and bought this one for my grandson to ease his trouble shooting needs. I think the only thing that has ever caused a failure with this meter was leaving it on a roof during a heavy rain. Otherwise it is a tough meter that is auto ranging and polarity sensing on DC. The Amp fork is so much easier to use than a clamp over and with the lock button you only need to probe, press the button, then remove the meter and read. The tone is strong when checking continuity and thats about it.
