> 3 dayOK, I own a lot of FLuke meters

> 3 dayFantastic multimeter, my only small criticism is that when measuring small resistance it won’t give me less than 1ohm accurately for some reason, perhaps it’s not designed for that type of measurements - aside from that it is an excellent peice of tech for a reasonable price.

> 3 dayNot an electrician but this is far superior to my old tester. Really like the field sense technology.

14-06-2025The non-contact voltage measurement reads about 10% lower than the actual value. Still, its a Fluke meter. Its good quality other than that.

> 3 dayI bought this unit to replace a broken T5-1000. These units function the same but I find that the field sense voltage measurement is finicky and often just find myself using the probes for accurate readings. There is a small area on the back of the unit that you touch to ground out and get the reading. The screen illuminates green to indicate you are reading correctly, but it still isnt perfect. This function is kind of a fancy non contact voltage tester (wiggly) in that it gives a reading but it can be off by more than 50 volts.

> 3 dayI like Fluke and from personal experience they last a very long time. But this time I was terribly surprised that the included alligator clip, that is used with the non contact feature, fell apart. Spring came loose and I dont know how to fix. And these clips arent cheap. But meter is fine. So far.
