> 3 dayThe only reason I gave the lower scores was I wasn’t able to use all the options. I needed the meter for a new job site, I was starting, it was an absolute necessity. When I received the meter without any of the accessories, I was extremely disappointed. The Fluke box was partially open upon arrival. Sending it back was not an option at the time. The meter itself worked fine for standard operation, but I could of paid less for the stripped down version, instead of paying more for the package and not getting it anyway.

> 3 dayGreat price and good value. Meter takes some getting use to , I’m unable to speak for those having trouble with field sense but you must have a good ground by touching ground with your other hand and also not to touch the wire you are trying to measure because you will not get readings. Quick for getting in and out for troubleshooting, the fact you do not need to pull off wire nuts or disconnect wires for testing saves time and is safe. This device you definitely have to adjust your use personal use in the field however I can tell you a majority of the negative reviews stem from user error and understanding when and how to use it. The T6-1000 and my 116 is my goto for 90% of the work I do in HVAC/Appliance/electrical repair and diagnostics. Don’t let the negative reviews sway you from purchasing it because it’s a game changing device. It’s just a tool the user has to be the judge when and how to use it.

> 3 dayI was hoping the fork was a little thinner. Works well when you can get the wire in between

> 3 dayNot very accurate readings on sensing. Yes, I know that there needs to be a proper path to ground. I just found it very annoying to try to get the wire in just the right sweet spot to get any kind of reading. All my testing equipment is Fluke, I am just glad I didnt get rid of the T5 when I bought this.

14-06-2025I really like this product, the field sense tech works great as long as you use a true ground reference. I’ve compared it to other meters, another Fluke and a Klein, and it reads true with the one probe on ground and the forks around the wire. Because everyone’s body creates a different amount of resistance, that feature is useful only as an induction tester. It will identify a wire with voltage, but will not give you a true reading.

> 3 dayI wanted to like it dispite other reviews, but it gives me bad readings. Especially on low voltage work ie 24v relays and such. I never expected voltage threw the fork to be perfect, but when I use the leads I do. I spent a far amount of time wondering why I only had 10v on a 24v transformer only to find out the meter is not correct. I’ve also had bad reading with continuity so unfortunately I went back to using my old fluke 376. Very disappointed in fluke on this one.

> 3 dayThis is probably not something everyone needs in their toolbox, but if you are one of those people that does need something like this - Fluke is the brand to trust and go to.
