Folkmanis Alligator Hand Puppet

Was just as I expected-well made, cute and fun!

I bought this alligator puppet for my nephew after his visit to an alligator farm. He handled a baby alligator and couldnt stop talking about it so when I saw this puppet, I bought it to give him on his 5th birthday. I know itll be a hit. The eyes are realistic and the puppet feature will allow imaginative play.

Our local library allows puppets to be checked out- and this alligator is one of my 2 year old grandsons favorites. Decided to see if Amazon carried a puppet similar to our local librarys alligator puppet in order to surprise my grandson; and was happy to discover the exact same brand of alligator puppet. He now has his own alligator to wrestle with and talk to at Grandmas house. Everyone likes to pick up the gator and make him talk and toss balls with his mouth. Well-made puppet. Definitely will buy another puppet from this company

My kids love this puppet. Hes the alligator that gets the monkeys who are teasing him. Weve had him 4 years and no sign of wear.

I have a confession to make. I actually bought this to play with my boxer puppy who loves play biting and usethe puppet to bite her back. Withing only a few minutes of *supervised* play (with my handin the puppet) she managed to chew off one of the teeth. Just a warning that if you have teething babies you may want to keep this in mind if that is a choking hazard. Smaller than expected as well (though measurements were given).

I bought this for my brother for Christmas. He is very picky about his gifts, but loves puppets. This does fit an adult guys hand with no trouble. It looks good, well sew, not cheap, but Folkmanis is always good, it is pretty much the only puppet brand we buy. The price is good for a quality puppet. I must confess I played with him just a bit before giving him to my brother to make sure he fit my hand with room to spare. Your hand is comfortable, its soft inside. I wouldnt say he looks realistic, but he does look very much like an alligator, but Folkmanis has some puppets that look almost like the real thing, such as the ferret. I feel this puppet has character, it really was easy to want to give him a personality.

Great product at a great price! My niece and nephews love their alligators! Would definitely buy more for other kids in my family.

The sewing for the mouth of this puppet was poorly done and made it crooked. Otherwise, the puppet was well-constructed.
