> 24 hourInstalled correctly but does not work correctly. After troubleshooting Ive come to the conclusion that its a bad/faulty digitizer. Wish I had installed sooner so that I could return for a different one... For those wondering: apps on the far left of the screen are unresponsive, touching apps on far right opens the apps on the far left.... UPDATE: The seller reached out to me with instructions to get a refund (email them the order number asking for a full refund) I did that and got a response fairly quickly! They asked me to remove my review in order to get a refund. So I changed to 5 stars so that this will hopefully be easiwr seen and am leaving everything else as is. I might not be getting a refund, but I hope this review helps someone make the correct decision to NOT purchase from this seller! 2nd update: this seller has resorted to harassing me to remove my review. I have reported them to Amazon customer service. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!

> 24 hourI had initially bought my iPad about 3 years ago and had shattered the screen about 2 years ago and was not so confident in replacing it. But with a couple videos and the amazing tools sent with the kit made fixing my iPad a breeze. It honestly looks brand new again. A nice bonus was there was a screen protector included. Definitely put that on as soon as the new screen is in itll save a lot of headaches in the future.

> 24 hourWe had a shattered screen, so this was bought to fix it. Once I finally got the little bits of glass off the frame, and all cleaned up, which took 1.5 hours, I started to get into hooking the new home button to the iPad. It looks so simple. I will leave it there. I am mechanically inclined, and plugging the new button is almost impossible if not difficult. The place where it connects is not an easy contact place. It’s a piece of rubber with connectors within it. You cannot force the small connection of the home button at all into this area. It will not allow you to. You can not use tweezers as far as to damage the wiring, so after about 30 minutes for me, I went to Target and bought my wife a new tablet. In Summary, installation failed. Not simple, it’s tougher than it seems on the video. The person had skill and practice. It’s an advanced install. Be prepared to get your own tools involved. Also tools provided were broken within 5 minutes of use. Glass chunks, wiring difficulties, and lack of detail instructions were what I did not extend more stars for. Go buy a new tablet, or get yours insured. It will save you money and time.

> 24 hourI ordered this to rescue a childs cherished iPad with a recently-shattered screen, and it worked very well. This was my first venture into a screen replacement, and the aftermarket part itself was perfect. There are no instructions to speak of, but there are several excellent step-by-step videos on YouTube which I followed slavishly and with good results. The tools provided in this kit arent really up to the job. Ive done several phones since doing this: investing in an inexpensive metal spudger makes the job easier, as does a good micro screwdriver and a good metal electronics tweezer. Heating with an adjustable heat gun (like the one on a soldering station) set to 100 degrees centigrade worked for me in melting the glue, though peeling off the old screen was by far the toughest part of this job. A silicone electronics repair mat is useful, too. I salvaged the fingerprint reader from the old screen setup hoping to preserve that function, which added quite a bit of time to the job, and found after transferring it that it wouldnt work anyway with the new screen, so should have used the one already connected in this replacement screen. (The manufacturer says up front that the fingerprint function wont work after replacing the screen, but entering the four-digit code to open and to shop the Apple Store isnt all that much of a burden, and thats the only difference.) A good replacement screen that made the iPad look and function like new (except for the fingerprint reader), and Id definitely buy the same one again.

> 24 hourEverything arrived just as described. I experienced some touch issues with the first screen immediately after install and I manage to crack the bottom right corner at the end of the process. I reached out to the company and explained the problems and after verifying my purchased, they shipped me a replacement. I received the replacement one day later and reinstalled with no issues. The only two things negative I would say is that the install video isnt the best but it shows the basics (plenty of other videos on YouTube). The other is already stated in their description and thats the loss of touch ID unless you use your existing home button. Other than that, great product and I would definitely order again if I had to replace another screen.

> 24 hourI didn’t know it would come with so much help and assistance and video to show you how to do it if you don’t already know how. I was very impressed with my purchase and if I need another one in the future I will definitely order from them again

> 24 hourI had no issues installing the screen. Perfect fit for my iPad and works like original. The step-by-step installation video was very easy to follow. Everything you need came with the screen so it made the whole process easy! Would recommend this product to whoever is hesitant about buying and installing it. This was my first time ever to repair a crack/broken screen and was worth it.
