> 24 hourI purchased this hand-piece for the Harbor Freight Heavy Duty flex shaft Grinder / Carver item#40432. Yes, this hand-piece will work with the Harbor Freight tool. I wanted to be able to use 1/4 bits with this tool and this hand-piece allows you to do that. The Foredom 44T is very good quality but it costs more than the Harbor Freight tool but it is worth it. I am happy with the purchase of this hand-piece and would definitely purchase it again. Foredom products are top notch! Not just good but Great Quality. I hope one day I can afford one of their grinder / carvers but I will say that I love my Harbor Freight grinder / carver tool and it has held up really well over the years too. If you are a Harbor Freight lover like I am you will not go wrong with this hand-piece for your HF grinder / carver.

> 24 hourBought this to be able to use 1/4 shank carbide bits with my Foredom pendant motor. Have previously only used their smaller 3/32 bits for working jewelry, so I wasnt sure how it would handle 1/4 bits. So far it has been amazing. Am using carbide bits to remove some serious metal from an aluminum intake manifold. The 44T has performed well. Tons of power, great speed, and easy to hold and control. Much better than my pneumatic die grinder, and the Foredom is about 90% quieter. After about an hour of solid grinding, the handpiece and motor do get fairly warm, so I have been giving them a periodic rest. But as I mentioned I am really grinding hard, and I still think this is doing a great job for a device thats truly intended for lighter duty work.
