> 3 dayIve been using this for a little over 3 years now with no problems at all! I use it with the h.f. flex tool. I use 1/4 burrs with this often, and the bearings are as smooth as day one. Thats more than I can say for the h.f. pneumatic die grinders Ive had.

> 3 dayI purchased this hand-piece for the Harbor Freight Heavy Duty flex shaft Grinder / Carver item#40432. Yes, this hand-piece will work with the Harbor Freight tool. I wanted to be able to use 1/4 bits with this tool and this hand-piece allows you to do that. The Foredom 44T is very good quality but it costs more than the Harbor Freight tool but it is worth it. I am happy with the purchase of this hand-piece and would definitely purchase it again. Foredom products are top notch! Not just good but Great Quality. I hope one day I can afford one of their grinder / carvers but I will say that I love my Harbor Freight grinder / carver tool and it has held up really well over the years too. If you are a Harbor Freight lover like I am you will not go wrong with this hand-piece for your HF grinder / carver.

> 3 dayMy first experience with Foredom flex-shaft units was around 1978 when I began my career in Tool & Die. In the decades since every shop Ive worked in used them. Just recently I found a Chinese Foredom SR unit for dirt cheap- https://www.amazon.com/VEVOR-Hanging-Flexshaft-Polishing-Jewelry/dp/B07HYMCQGM/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 The only problem is the #30 3-jaw chuck handpiece that usually comes with Foredoms. Its good for little odd-sized drill bits, and maybe some felt bobs for light polishing, but I wouldnt use it for anything serious. Basically all drill chucks arent very good for a lot of sideways force. If you chuck up a 1/4 carbide burr on a 1/8 shank and start hogging away at different metals youll see what I mean right away. The shank slowly slides out, distorting the jaws and eventually ruining the tiny chuck. THATS when the 44T really shines. 3/32, 1/8, AND 1/4 shanks lock in really tight and wont slide back out under extreme usage. Plus, theyll still run true 20 years down the road. In my opinion the Foredom 44T is the ultimate companion handpiece for any flex-shaft machine that will accept it. DISCLAIMER: My opinion here is after paying full price. Discounts, trinkets, and freebies wont ever sway my commitment to the truth.
