> 3 dayIll keep this short & sweet .... Do you weld? Do you hate using a chipping hammer/wire brush to remove slag? Do you value youre eye sight? ... then you need this cup wire brush attached to a 4-1/2 angle grinder which will make life a little easier for you. I especially like this cup wire brush because it doesnt sling wires into your arms, chest, etc. like the inline wire brushes do!

> 3 dayI recently used up my Forney wire cup, and just bought another. I dont normally leave reviews until Ive used a product, and often then I forget. However since I ordered another, I will say that service life was good. Reasonably aggressive (expected from a twisted wire wheel), but the real reason I am buying another is because it didnt lose bristles. The bristles actually wore down to nubs at the end without shedding any. Stiffness of the bristles was also good, the cup didnt flare out too much, and cut consistently with pressure. Quite pleased with the service, life, and quality of this one. For tough rust removal, or lots of mill scale, I would go with a flap disc, but this is exactly what I would want from a wire cup. Attached photo shows how the bristles wore.

Greater than one weekIts a wire wheel and itll do its job. I used it for about 15 minutes and it started throwing wires out. Thats why I only give it 3 stars. Still, for $4 im not going to complain much. I wouldnt pay much more than that though.

> 3 dayI have been buying the Mose expensive Makita twisted wire cup. I presumed this wouldn’t last at the much less expensive price. So far it’s just fine. Yes I can already tell it will wear down a little faster than the Makita, but this is way less expensive (but it doesn’t look as cool) LOL

> 3 dayI have a craftsman angle grinder from 2005ish, it came with one of these and I always thought it was supposed to vibrate like it does, until I purchased this. This appears to be way more balanced, it does the job that I ask of it, and it is affordable!. Will purchase again.

15-11-2024I like it much better than the flat wire wheels. It still throws some wire strands, so make sure to wear your PPE, but it feels much stronger than the flat wire wheels.
