> 3 dayIve been using this on a Bosch router table to put a straight edge on my lumber. Once I got the router table set up perfectly I used this to plane about 400 linear feet of various grades of lumber. I then took the router off the table and used this to cut out an undermount sink in a 1 1/2 oak butcher block counter top. That really pushed this bit to its max, but it gave me a great finish. You need a decent router to get the most out of this and the other Freud bits.

> 3 dayUsually Freud makes good stuff. This time it didn’t work out. The end bearing flew off after 30 minutes of use. i actually took the time to check the retainer screw and make sure it was tight before using it.

> 3 dayUsed for the first time this weekend to trim some 1 1/2 plywood table top for my work table. It cut great. Looking forward to using it for some pattern cutting during a future project.

> 3 dayI used this with a Craftsman Professional Router. I needed to trim the end of a 1 and 1/2 butcherblock countertop to fit the wall. I hogged off the material needed and the bit left a nice flush cut. Well worth the price.

Greater than one weekI use this bit when making tables and putting a radius on the corners of the table top. Works well, and no issues. Ive made about 6 tops with this specific bit and its still sharp and works well. (Walnut, Maple, Elm, Catalpa, Cedar, occasional pine) (Catalpa end tables and small pine top shown in pics) I rarely have any issues with this manufacture..

> 3 dayThe bearing basically exploded with in seconds of the first use. Had to steal a bearing off a one of cheap shorter harbor freight ones which while not quite the right size, was close enough for my purposes. None of my cheap ones have ever done that. Guess thats what I get when I try to buy a better one, it ends up being crap. Did cut well, but without the bearing thats kid of pointless

> 3 dayFreud has lived up to their great reputation. This bit will be used to make an arch fill above a door in an brick house. I made a template from a 1 x 4 and let the bearing ride the template to form the 2 x 4s for the fill. This will ensure a perfect arch shape on every piece. Ive used shorter bits like this before on thinner boards with great results.
