> 3 dayI use this bit when making tables and putting a radius on the corners of the table top. Works well, and no issues. Ive made about 6 tops with this specific bit and its still sharp and works well. (Walnut, Maple, Elm, Catalpa, Cedar, occasional pine) (Catalpa end tables and small pine top shown in pics) I rarely have any issues with this manufacture..

12-04-2025Ive been using this on a Bosch router table to put a straight edge on my lumber. Once I got the router table set up perfectly I used this to plane about 400 linear feet of various grades of lumber. I then took the router off the table and used this to cut out an undermount sink in a 1 1/2 oak butcher block counter top. That really pushed this bit to its max, but it gave me a great finish. You need a decent router to get the most out of this and the other Freud bits.

> 3 dayExcellent bit. Very sharp. No tear out in soft or hard wood as long as dont rush it. Makes duplicating parts in 3/4 stock a breeze. Clamp 2 pieces together along with a 1/4 template and knock out two at a time.

Greater than one weekIts a really long bit, so vibration is hard to manage, but, surprisingly, it works really well. I use it as a poor mans jointer and it works well.
