Have had them in for 4 days and I can still smell the shrimp. It was raining so bad that I didnt want to drive to the store so I just ordered these. Well back to my plain old charocold. Living in Hawaii went home on vacation and fridge went out. I had fish in there. It was in there for 30 days. WOW WHAT A SMELL. I PUT A BIG BAG OF CHARCOAL IN THERE AND IT GOT RID OF THE STINK AND THE PLASTIC IN THE FREEZER DIDNT EVEN STINK. MAKE SURE TO GET JUST PAIN CHARCOAL NOT THE ONES THAT HAVE FRANGRANCES OR QUICK START

Purchased these because I moved into a new apartment and the fridge smell was bad, even after I took everything apart and cleaned it. I asked for a new fridge and they said they were on backorder and I wouldnt be able to get one. Insert these little guys. I put them in the fridge and within 24 hours, the smell was gone. Id recommend them to anyone. My fridge has been fine since.

Actually it was not great, it was not good, it did not eliminate oders in my refrigerator or freezer! After using it for a little while I pulled out some fruit that I had frozen and that crap smelt like everything else in my refrigerator! So no I do not recommend!!

Long story short - these Fridge Deodorizers work. On to the story: My husband and I purchased a stand-up freezer for the garage and I began to fill the freezer with my bargain meat finds (NY strip steaks, half ham, whole chicken, etc). Unfortunately, there was a power outage while we were out of town and the freezer did not turn back on once power was restored. Without getting too graphic - the smell was nauseating. Once the fridge was cleaned up, every time I opened the freezer that smell was there. My husband said that the smell was gone, but I was the one who found the bloated, so gross meat, that the scent will forever be etched in my nose. I purchased these deodorant packs as a last-ditch effort to clean that smell out of the fridge and they worked. It did take a few months but that smell is gone. We did have a fridge repair guy come out and he couldnt find anything wrong, but my husband thinks he replaced a circuit board as the fridge was brand new. Time will tell, but the only items currently in that freezer are various types of bread.
