I’ve watched this movie as kid. My all time favorite movie hands down.

My favorite movie of all time. Love, finding oneself and learning from a generation that is nearly exiting this life.

Ein fantastischer Film! Er baut mich immer wieder auf, wenn ich mal schlecht gelaunt bin. So viele Lebensweisheiten... meine Mutter, die gerade absolut in den Wechseljahren ist, musste vor Rührung weinen, als sie ihn gesehen hat. Er ist ein Muss in jeder DVD-Sammlung! Und so ein rabenschwarzer Humor... einfach wunderbar!

This is one of my all time favorite movies. The cast is terrific - movie is great.

Well written and well acted this is a compelling story that runs a wide range of emotions. Actually it is two stories; the current story of a women in mid life crisis and the story of the 1930s restaurnt and the people involved in it. So what you get are flashbacks that actually make up half the movie. As the show progresses each story fuses together in many ways. This is also a classic good vs evil yarn in which good does triumph but not all the time. Like all good movies it will make you think a little more about life; past and the shape of the present.

Great movie had to have it on DVD for my own viewing purposes.

Endlich...Gefühlskino pur...auf Blue-ray

One of the best movies made. Great characters played by some amazing actors and actresses. Jessica Tandy is amazing and the way the “story” is told, from the standpoint of her character reminiscing about something that happened so long ago as she told it to a visitor to her nursing home as her husband visited a relative, is a very unique way to do a movie. Fanny Flagg’s books that have been made into movies are always worth watching.

Brilliant film and worth watching.
