I purchased the DVD version because it was $5.00 with free shipping through prime and now I am able to watch it any time I want. I already loved the movie but the purpose of this purchase was because it was only $2.01 more than the 24 hour rental and I got the instant stream to watch it right then. So I got to watch it when I wanted to and got my hard copy 2 days later to watch at any time.

This is a heart-warming, inspiring, up-lfting movie. It is the only movie to make me cry,(in some parts) It also had me laghing.I would recomend this movie to anyone. An all time favorite.

A wonderfully told story of a time long gone . Its also a who done it, but thats only part of an engaging narrative of the friendship of two women in two different generations. All based within the same area years apart.

First off let me say this is a chick flick. I think it is better then both Steel Magnolias and Terms Of Endearment. It is filled with great performances by Mary Louise Parker, Kathy Bates and Jessica Tandy. Everybody in it is good. Gailord Sairtain who I knew mostly from Hee Haw does very well in a dramatic supporting role. This movie will make you laugh. When Kathy Bates loses a parking spot. Is one of the highlights of the movie. And itll make you cry. What would a chick flick be. But it wont be something that five minutes after its over with that you will forget.
