Fried Green Tomatoes

I really was pleased with my purchase because I knew this was exactly what I wanted. Ive had back surgery and enjoying movies while recovering has been a true Godsend for me. So, I treated myself to a few good oldies but goodies and Ive been extremely happy with my purchase. Now I can watch this anytime I have the desire and I dont have to ever miss out on a good, clean, funny and top cast movie. If you are just wanting a movie to fill a couple of hours and make you laugh and cry, then this movie is a must have!!

A film that shows story telling by a member of one generation to that of another can be life changing for both of them. Friendship between the generations can be a marvellous thing.

Oh, where do I start? I had nightmares for ages every time I thought about the railroad track scenes. I actually sat at a crossing, in the middle of the road, and couldnt cross it! I still am not a BBQ fan after I realized what could be in there..... Kathy Bates gives me the creeps ever since Misery! She is probably a good actress and all that, but I cant look at her. All the deceit and hurt was just too much for me. Ill pass.

Excellent Film! One of the very best of its time staring the award winning Jessica Tandy and Kathy Bates. Watch as an unhappy house wife played by Bates befriends Tandy in a nursing home. Tandy tells her of a tell of laughter, devotion and a frienship that defies all obstacles. Bates becomes addicted to the story and returns time after time to find out what happens. As the story is told it helps bates to become a stronger woman and to stand up for herself.

Der Film ist so schön und die Star-Besetzung trifft es sehr gut. Eine tolle Story. Ich lese z.Z. das Buch und bin gespannt, ob der Film dem Buch gerecht wird.

Da mein Videorekorder den Geist auf gab, habe ich mir diese Filme auf DVD gekauft.Die DVD hat eine gute Qualität. Ich bin sehr zufrieden .
