> 3 dayI bought this in 2021 and used it for 2 years. I went to turn it on this year and the compressor is not turning on. I think that while it was working it was drawing quite a bit of power. When the compressor would turn on, I could frequently observe my lights dimming. It did pull quite a bit of water out of the air and it has a fairly large reservoir.

> 3 dayI have the dehumidifier in a damp basement and use the hose connection to dump the water into a sump so I never need to empty it. The unit does a great job of keeping the large basement at about 40% humidity. It is pretty quiet unless you set the fan speed to max. I would buy this unit again.

> 3 dayI liked that it was quiet and kept the humidity at 50% during the rainy season. I did not like that it iced up last night and began dripping water. I turned it off and removed the filter and cover plate. There was a sheet of ice on the bottom 1/3. I cleaned the filter and waited a few hours until the ice was melted completely and restarted. About an hour later, I checked and Ice had already formed on maybe the bottom 1/4. Ill have to scrap it and find a different brand that hopefully will last longer.

> 3 dayI cannot stress enough what a great unit this is. It was purchased as a replacement (same brand) for the dehumidifier we had for 15 years! Thank you, Frigidaire!

> 3 dayMy older dehumidifier keep freezing over and never got the basement below 45%. I installed the Frigidaire 50 Pint Dehumidifier, using the continuous drain configuration, let it run continuously for 48 hours, then set the unit to 40% auto. Humidity has been holding at 35% as checked with a separate humidity monitor and the unit is not constantly running. Controls are easy, as is cleanable filter and it is not noisy at all.

> 3 dayBeen using it for over a month and it is doing a really great job. Have a drain hose run into the sink and it’s doing wonderful job. Have the humidity level set and it’s maintaining nicely.

> 3 dayThis unit is perfect for my finished, carpeted basement. I’m in a high humidity area. This unit really pulls the moisture out of the air. With the added challenge of a shower, it’s even more critical. I highly recommend!

> 3 dayIt does seem to draw the wetness from my basement has fast as my old one did. It has been a wet spring though.

> 3 dayWorked great with low noise while it was alive. Less than 2 years later it no longer pulls water out of the air. Will buy different brand next time.
