This review is for Windows 10 on a Dell laptop. It took me about 15 minutes from the time I opened the box to my first scanned document. I didnt use the wireless option so it was a USB connection. Everything about this device is great: Its fast Its accurate (deskew, despeckle, auto contrast etc) Its compact. One button scan and walk away for later classification iPhone sync within seconds to review your docs Wireless connection so you can put it anywhere in the house for easy access. Its duplex

This has a separate set of drivers from Evernote. I didnt understand that at first, but online support made it clear.

I return the NeatConnect Premium Wi-Fi Scanner because most of the advertised things you could do with the scanner you had to be connected to the cloud. I didnt want my documents on some company server so I purchase the Scan Snap ix500 because I can scan locally and it support wireless scanning. The Wi-Fi scanning works pretty good and the setup was pretty easy. The problem comes in when there are more than one person want to user the scanner via Wi-Fi. You have to physical connect the computer to the snap scanner to set up the Wi-Fi connection and the scanner pairs with that computer. When the next person want to use the scanner, they then have to physically connect to the scanner and pair there machine to the scanner which then remove the pairing from the first computer. Yes, it only pairs to one machine at a time. What I didnt understand, if I want to pair my machine to the snap scanner again, I have to physically connect to the scanner. At the point I physically connect to the scanner, why dont I just hit the scan button which saves time from setting up the pairing? Why cant the scanner pair with more than one machine? Sense the scanner is connected to my network, why can more than one person scan from it the same way more than one person can print to my printer and yes more than one person can scan from my network printer without physically connecting to it and removing other people ability. I would understand these limitations if I was pairing directly to the scanner the same way that I can connect a blue tooth device like headphone to another device. One pairing at a time but I had to connect the snap scanner to my wireless access point and at that point my scanner has an IP address and is now connected to a network which means multiple computer should be able to pair with this scanner. This is a software limitation and I dont understand why the company rolled this out in this manner. I called the company about this issue and they do not have a better solution or have an plans on improving this issue.

Love it! Its fast rarely gets stuck and has extremely high-quality scans. I have sold my neat receipt this is a thousand times better.

I absolutely hated it. I am computer savvy but just couldnt figure out the software. DOES NOT include regular scan snap software which is user friendly. The only software option is Evernote which you have to pay maintenance on when free trial runs out. I returned it for the Scan Snap which has Scan Snap, Evernote, Drop Box, and Google Drive software.

This printer isnt even compatible with the latest version of MacOS 10.15 Catalina...so after you spend HUNDREDS of dollars on possibly the most expensive scanner known to mankind...it wont even connect to your Mac. After spending 30 minutes looking through Fujitsu docs, I finally found a doc that says oh by the way, were not compatible with 10.15...might have been something important to relay BEFORE buying this scanner?

Do Not Buy...you can only scan to evernote...you cannot scan to your desktop and you cannot get support.

cannot say enough good things about this! If you are an administrator who regularly processes receipts and things this is a huge time saver
