I bought a 6 feet shelf/organizer and I needed something to hold it still as the floor has carpet. This furniture anchor is perfect for that purpose. I just used 2 of these near the top of the shelf on the left and right pillars, and it held up the shelf really good. I like how the straps are reusable and can be removed by picking the retention clips. My little kid have been accidentally bumping to the shelf a lot of times and there is no sign of the anchors failing. Highly recommended.

My husband hates putting furniture and things together, so for him to say this was quick and easy for him to install is a great accomplishment. Our heavy furniture is tightly secured to the wall now without and doubt they will be able to withstand my climbing toddler.

The expansion screw is extremely fragile. They ask you to use a hammer to install it which will break it 100%. Use a drilling expanding screw instead, not this one.

Ive used this product to secure shelves. I think the screws and attachments to the wall they provide is fine quality, but the zip ties that youre suppose to use to connect attachments between the wall and your shelf are not sturdy at all. I could easily untie the ziptie by hand. No I know there is a tab you can press to untie zipties, but this is not what Im referring to. Zipties were just not sturdy and easily untied upon applying some pressure.

This product does not work. The screws were dull and a cheap material. They wouldn’t penetrate the wall at all. Used different drywall screws to finish install. Put strap in place but it doesn’t hold. Just a gentle pull on the furniture caused the straps to open and fall off. Ended up only using the base of these and our own screws and zip ties to complete the job. Glad we tested it before trusting it to function properly with our children’s furniture.

These work well for childproofing your home, preventing furniture from falling over. I hate drilling holes in my walls, but its better than a kid getting killed by a falling bookshelf or something. The only concern I have is that they expect you to use the drywall anchors, when the ultimate mounting would be into a stud. However, the physics of the situation probably means that the drywall anchor setup is sufficient to keep furniture from falling from a small child hanging off of a mostly-stable piece of furniture. The zipties/straps are a nice touch because some furniture doesnt have to be damaged at all if it happens to have some sort of bar or other area that the strap can wrap around. Otherwise, you are expected to mount a plate on the wall AND the furniture, damaging both. The zipties are easy enough to release if you need to remove them, but kids wont understand how to release them.

These are awesome, small, and completely unnoticeable in our house. Very easy to install, and very low-profile. Theyve held up extremely well to our 10-month-old pulling up on our bookcases. I have no fear of anything falling on her. I will note: we ended up using some higher-rated zip-ties that we had previously purchased. They were used because they were black to match our black metal frame bookcases, not because we were concerned about the weight rating of the provided zip ties, but figured Id note it for those curious.

I purchased these furniture straps for multiple reasons, with the most important being that I needed something to keep my headboard sitting snugly against the wall. I have an adjustable bed, so I dont have the ability to mount my bedframe to the headboard to keep it stable. Before I installed a couple of these straps, anytime I would raise my adjustable bed, the headboard would fall up against the back of my bed and nearly hit me in the head. And unfortunately, leaning my headboard against the wall was not an option because then it was angled and just didnt look right. Once I installed these straps on either side of my headboard and pulled the zipper strap through both holes, it pulled my headboard back towards the wall and thats where its remained ever since. Since I have all the tools necessary (screwdriver, drill, awl, etc.), it only took about 15 minutes to install them. However, I do HIGHLY recommend you have assistance from another person if you plan to use these to anchor/strap anything heavy to the wall like a headboard, bookcase, hutch, etc.
